i disagree. he is an amazing drummer, technicality always helps, but more of it is definitely not needed in his case. the thing i like most about rileys beats are that he doesnt overdue anything, particularly the double bass pedal. too many current drummers heavily overuse the power of the double bass. and IMO, i'd take a technically iffy drummer with great feel anyday over a robot who can play "perfect"
