@TheAndron55 yes its called hardcore ammo has weight stimpks heal over time and dont heal limbs. you need food water and sleep to survive. its with the regular edition on all platforms

@jt62796 I'm sure if there was a FWE edition of New Vegas, it would improve on Hardcore mode, plus add extra needed stuff, because FWE adds much much more than just Ammo Weight, Classical Stimpaks, Doctor Bags, and Necessities.

I agree big mac......I remember when i had to keep track of my ammo...Buy stimpacks, And ACTUALLY get good armor. Now i'm a level 30 ruining around in a Merc troublemaker outfit killing behemoths i made respawn :P

I love the idea of the alternate beginings with FWE but is a pain to cotinue the main quest if you chose to start like a Raider, Slaver or Talon Merc (if not imposible)

i just want to say that VATS sucks shit at the start us it with a perk and fwe comes with a slow motion its much better man. u just vats all battles u boring no challange us vats when u get atacked by mellee so u don't take damage

yeah FWE is great. I still like VATS though (FWE increased amt of damage taken in VATS) I have a problem with FWE + VATS accuracy however. I often get hits with 1-5% of chance to hit in VATS in vanilla. wtf? bug? i tried reinstalling a few times. is that normal?

pick up 'ASIMOV melee' ;D

penalises the crap out of you for using a ranged weapon in melee combat, one shot will probably use up most if not all your action points when a super mutant is all up in your face.

I love those first couple fights in Fallout, they are always so visceral and real.... and it's the only time in the game where you literally are counting your bullets and praying.
