  • im not sure do i mod because something can be wrong

  • I got the same decal on my fan!!!! yeey :p

  • i really appreciate your work

but i bought my pc to have a good one not to get a monthly bill telling me how much i spend on the electricity

but it looks cool, somehow nonsense

    but pc is somehow nonsense

    so whatever

  • lol, i don't run that stuff all the time, actually pretty rarely. but it's nice for lan parties and such.

  • uuuh LED's are like 12W

  • That's sweet!

  • Hi!! Im a DeeJay and I wold like to know the name of this music.

  • AMAZING

  • cool ! ! ! but mine is just fine

  • I don't want to be an ass......but that looks like an alien ware man

  • I Dont Know Shit About Computers,

Do The Led's move To The Music???

I Want To Fix Up My Computer Kida Like This One , Whats The name Of That Song Its Tight??

  • Great this modding is great

  • what do you have to buy to make the lights flash like that

  • LED's

  • sweet!!!!!!

  • Are both your cathodes on a one sound device?

  • no, they re not sound reactive.

The have 12 modes and just flash

btw - they are not cathodes but they are led

and u can connect 2 cathodes to one sound device.

  • hey mate

whats the name of these type of leds? i like to buy something. did you find on e bay?

  • These are called Meteor Light.

    Just search it on ebay

you will find it. If there is a lot, keep going through it.

  • how much was it?

  • love the newports

    sexy case

whats it called and whered you get it?

  • digg:D

  • i have this case...! awesome lol

whats the size of the fan in the front? is it 120mm?

  • dude,,, it will be intense if u tell me were u get the music leds..

  • Nice ide like to have a compartment to hide cigs from my moms she doesnt like me smoking. LOL i live by myself and she comes to my house to make sure im not smoking (i hide it so well)

  • nice thats one of my personal favs for sure, Good work.

  • Thanks for this video, I've watched it many times for those beautiful meteor lights.

I do have a few questions.

    Are they sunbeam or logysis?

It looks like they're on 2 different controllers, am I correct?

    Thanks!

  • my bad, I see now in the desc. that they are logysis. But the question about one or two controllers. Thanks! =]

  • How much did it cost you overall?

  • i rather get a pc that runs better than the looks

  • marc4life22: You shouldn't have to choose. Make your own PC and you'll have one that looks great -and- runs awesome.

  • yeah you can do both, and nothing is better then a fast pc clear case with bad ass lights.

  • why clear case with leds? the'l only distract you while gaming.

better thing is a smooth black case with sound proof stuff and watercooling

then jam in average hardware and overclock the heck out of it

  • Nice... The biggest problem of all is the case, its red/orange, and you all the controllers you put usually white or black so, you paint them or it fucks up what are that colored cables?

  • Dude you lighting rocks...i love it

  • Nice job!!! I like the L.E.D.'S better than the cathodes, they seem to be better at reaction time. I was thinking of a way to have several different frequency ranges, maybe using a crossover and have a multi-lighted effect...? Not sure, still thinking...lol

  • I must ask, How did you get the lights to go with the music, is it a program or something? The only lights ive seen just beat to the bass of the music. sweet video by the way.

  • matt7106: There are like 8 different settings than can be changed with a button on the back of the PC, I'm just hitting the switches in time to the music, hehe. Glad you like. :D

  • can you use round cables on other hardware without ATA drives and floppys?

  • Netinterspace: Sure, round IDE cables work just like the normal flat ones only look cooler and provide better internal circulation.

  • Thanks, you have PSU eith modules right? that you can add or take the cables?I have a NOX Pulsar

  • Netinterspace: Yes, I have a modular power supply.

  • im close to make a video about my pc, then youll see, it is small, but good and compact i have the recom Backdraft in Black so its really tight inside (even more with a 8800 Ultra lol)

  • not just circulation but makes it look better and its nicer to work on

  • nice vid.. :P i like the case end the rest nice music by the wAY

  • lol someone with the name of a car as a username calling someone else a nerd.how ironic .Fuck off you twat

  • nice lighting im looking to do something like that

  • Haha, Would be fun going on the computer at night time :).. In the dark.

  • LOL ANOTHER FUCKING NERD..

  • SkylineR034: LOL. Another fucking retard who thinks that anyone not as stupid as them is a nerd.

"O LOOK AT ME, I SO SMART I TALK ALL IN CAPS. I SO COOL I MAKE FUN OF PPL ON INTERNET"

  • Thats what I'm saying next time somebody calls me a nerd.

  • we prefer to be called technicians or enthausiasts

  • Hmmm...I guess he is a fucking nerd if he can build his own shit and make it look good???!!! I take it you can't build your own shit so you ...try to make fun of those who can??? LMMFAO!!!

  • what thing did you use to make the lights in sync with the music?

  • ArmenianSOADfreak: My finger and the selector switch. ;)

  • oh haha

i thought there was some sortof box with a kinda thingy that could change the lighting wen it was loud or whatever (im not crazy) lol awesome mod tho...

  • ArmenianSOADfreak: There is but I don't have one. :)

  • cool you know where i can obtain one of these ?

  • cool

  • I like it...

  • Damn...I love this!!! Awesome job!!! Got the blue and red led sound activated lights. Is that a mirror behind them reflecting?...lmao...cool

  • i like your pc case.where did you bought it and how much?

  • ice9fetus81: I bought it from NewEgg and I think I paid around $50.

  • Thanks mate!!!

  • ice9fetus81: I don't think NewEgg ships to the UK but the case is a Logisys Phantom if you're interested in it. The stock power supply is a bit flimsy, though, you'll probably want to get something more powerful like I did.

  • I love the v shape indent thingy on your tower panel. I also like the sound chip thingy

  • rofl newport cigs

  • That rocks!! I love case mods... especially when it's done as well as that! I think I'll post mine when it's finally done.

  • Which mobo should i buy for sli my budget is 300 max so far i have a sli 600 watt psu, raptor x hard drive, sunbeam transformer case, sunbeam 7 fan module,8800gts graphics card and the rest is still in works please help need expert advice.

  • how did you get ALL the lights to beat with sound? i can only get ccfls to di it

  • cheesewheels99: There is a sound-activation unit for Logisys toys but I don't have it. I'm just timing the button presses to go with the music.

  • were can u get it and will it work with not logisys stuff?

  • cheesewheels99: Lots of different places. I buy most of my PC equipment from NewEgg.

  • me 2!!!

  • amazing!!! im loving your pc

  • that is un-frikin-beleiveable

  • whoa sweet!

  • very nice dude

  • how do u go about crysis though

  • Excellent video, dark420bishop. I'm a fan of Logisys, too. And Newegg is my best friend. lol

  • ei...mine is a P4 3.0ghz,2 Gb DDR 833mhz ram,an inno3d 5500 vcard...but i have one problem though...i have only a 350watt PSU...and i want to add more fans and light...is it ok?

  • 2eureka4: Should be. You should be able to monitor your voltage either with software for the mobo or in your bios.

  • thnx by the way...any suggestion bout the program ur tellin?whats its name?where can i get it...thank you so much...by the way ur pc is cool...

  • 2eureka4: Go to the website that manufactures your motherboard and see what they have.

  • thats so amazing........how did you do that??? If you tell me i m so gonna put that on my pc! :)

  • DISCO! FTW

    nice...

  • what specs are u'r pc?

  • 2.0G Athlon 64 3000+, 2 x 1G Corsair XMS, ATI X800-XT (o/c) with an after-market fan, 150G + 250G + 500G hard drives, Sony 16x +/- DVD burner. It's not cutting edge anymore but it can still drive all the new games at full quality.

  • whats the name of the song

  • Love those meteor light, im usin em in a silver surfer case...nice

  • great yob i like it 5 stars

  • nvm...

  • like the pulse of the led's...how do you make it pulse like the beat of the song?

  • airways92: There is a sound-activation unit for Logisys toys but I don't have it. I'm just timing the button presses to go with the music.

  • hey man how did you do the neon pulse?

  • airways92: Not sure what you mean. I'm using two meteor strips and (later) a plasma tube. The rest of the illumination is just from LEDs.

  • You inspired me. I made a video of my machine.

  • Dude i like how you did the photos and my fave part is at 22Seconds beacaue it looks like a space station and the music you have with it its very spacey.. lol. Any ways.. Well done.

  • lollipop2kewl: Thanks! For the photo part, like for the first part, I took a pictures of the case in the light, then a picture of the case in the dark, trying to come as close to the same angle as possible. Using a Paint Shop Pro, I moved the second picture around until the angle was identical to the first. Then I used a simple fade on my video editor. The effect did turn out really cool. I'm surprised I pulled it off since this was the first video I ever made! ^__^

  • Well eaith way.. you did a very good job. =}. nice 2 see real ppl on youtube. no one ever replys.

  • nice video what is that music????

  • Rahaon: You should get in the habit of checking video descriptions before asking questions, a lot of people (including me) put stuff like that in the video description.

  • just tell me name this SONG i dont understand you!!!! iam from CZECH REP. AND I HATE EANGLISCH =) thats all :D okey??

  • fucking epic

  • lol show off

  • How much did all of this cost you? lol, one day I dream of building my PC from scratch. =]

  • pnc37909786: Somewhere between $600-800 for everything. That might seen like alot but it's only half or a third of what it would have cost me to buy the same computer from a store at the time. You save so much money by buying parts and building yourself.

  • the song is "working up"

  • No, it's not. If you'd read the video description, you'd know the songs used in this video are Crystal Method's Trip Like I Do from Vegas and Chemical Brothers' Leave Home from Exit Planet Dust. :P

  • Well done man!

    I am ipressed

  • nice

  • very very good

    Song Name ??

  • wicked awesome, so im guessing these are sound activated lights right ?

  • Nah, that's just me hitting the selector switches. Logisys does make a sound activated controller but I can't figure out how to buy it by itself, you have to buy a cathode tube to get it. :(

  • this is quite similar to my case, but im interested in that little drawer that goes in the DVD drive slot. did you make it?

if not, where can you buy them?

  • spadgey1: It's called an iBox, it's made by Thermaltake.

  • thanks ;)

  • Kinda strange that it looks almost like an Alien PC...

  • You just sold me on those meteor lights. I have a few questions though. I'm wondering if they switch the patterns on their own, do you control just on/off and speed? Thanks, sweet coordination with music, gave me the chills when the full music started and the lights started danicing

  • Very nice man. you have to give.me lesons xD

  • i bet it uses more power tho waste of cash realy but i like tho

  • Interesting, and good job on the video. However, this has little to do with a case mod. It's just playing with lighting.

  • somehow, i got bored with cases that looked like that. simple and basic is what i like now. like the antec 900 or lian-li's cases

  • hueyae12: Whatever your case, the most important thing is that you like it.

  • very nice

    very nice indeed

  • i have the old version of this case :D

  • What case is that?

  • exswitch: It's a Logisys Phantom. For more info on parts used, check the video description.

  • Nice mod, but I'm interested in that little drawer in the front of the case. did you make it? if not, where can you get the mfrom?

  • spadgey1: that would be the iBox, by Thermaltake. I think it was about 8$ US? I bought it on NewEgg (along with 85% of that computer's individual parts - they love me).

  • best goddamn case ive ever seen wish you were my neighbour

  • Thanks! I also build/repair/upgrade PCs on the cheap.

  • Nice man! (H)

  • one of the fricking best cases i have ever seen love the front!!!

  • napathan: Thank you!

  • are the strips sound activated or did u have to be changing the settings?

  • Logisys does make a sound activated controller for the metoer lights but I can't figure out how to buy it by itself, you have to buy a cathode tube to get it. :(

  • well, cool mod, but it will be cooler if you have a wire/connector management inside, their messy to look at.

  • shitneez: that would be the iBox, by Thermaltake. I think it was about 8$ US? I bought it on NewEgg (along with 85% of that computer's individual parts - they love me).

  • sick! are they sound activated?

  • thats sweet! how did you get the cathodes rigged like that? ive seen sound activated ones that just flash on and off...but enver anything that goes along in a bar like that

  • They're not cathodes, they're meteor strips. They even make flexible ones now! Logisys has the best toys.

  • Wow, amazing light show & great choice of music. How about doing a keyboard version like the Logitech G15?

  • nicely done!

  • newport :)

  • i prefer to mod the case more then putting christmas lights... i think that a single blue neon should do the job

  • You computer looks like a Rave party!!! LOL!!!

  • thats pretty fucken cool. check out my vid. not as kool as yours but its ok.

  • huhuhuhhu nice man...

remember me a chirstmas lights... but its cool

  • for most of the video, all i'm doing is hitting the switches that change the light pattern but at the end when it's going back and forth between the two strips, that's me turning them off and on, heheh. i dunno, tho, i've seen ppl with the sound-activated lights and i do love that idea so who knows, i may break down and buy one in the future.

  • yo whats that called with your newports in it, and where do I get one? I wanna have a "stash box" installed on my pc and put a lock on it if possible for obvious reasons ;)

  • It's an iBox. Pretty neat, eh? :)

  • were the lights randomly played or did you have some kind of switch

  • ur lights do that by them selves or do u have to adjust em to do that cuz there really cool
