Thanks for the feedback, Mr. P! My previous attempts at songwriting have all failed miserably, I think due to trying too hard. This song came to me in about 10 minutes while I was at work. I guess the uke muse works in mysterious ways.

Love is for sure my middle name. My parents effectively gave me one of the cheesiest pick up lines of all time when they named me. I can't make any promises about the results of future songwriting endeavors, but I will give it a try. Thanks for the encouragement!

No, I am not fibbin', this is definitely my first completely original piece. I do have a little experience writing parodies and stuff, but that stuff mostly circulates only within my circle of close friends. As for actual songwriting, I've made some attempts, but I usually end up trying too hard and then it's just a big mess.
