ALL of the Pyramids in Egypt were built between 2612 and 1814 BC. The Great Pyramid was completed in 2566 BC and Khafre's Pyramid and the Great Sphinx were completed in 2532 BC. I believe it to be true that the original Egyptians were black skinned. Researchers say that in the 1720's BCE, Semitic Hyksos invaded Egypt and took over until the people of the land were able to rise up and completely overthrow and oust them from rulership in the 16th century BCE, enslaving any remaining Jews. So if that's true, the light skinned rulers were there for only a short span of four generations or so - which is nothing in the span of Egyptian history.

@RaDihauti I have wondered about that part of the story, why Jesus' family would go into Egypt for safety. And I've also heard that Jesus may have been black, was he fully Jewish? I don't really buy that all those Jewish men were all black, but I'm sure there was a great deal of intermarriage, so it's definitely an area of research worth looking into. Osiris and Jesus have very similar stories associated with them.
