If you haters don't like the show, don't watch it. Lanie is a bit awkward, but she's young. I like to watch One Plate At A Time because when ever I see him cook I get hungry for Mexican... Anything from simple tacos to the all day simmering pots. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

@TheSasha555 - What a ridiculous comment. She adds a tremendous amount to the show, in many ways. Youth, exuberance, freshness, acceptness to learning of traditional ways, to name a few. Those are the reasons your favorite Mexican dishes taste as good as they did hundreds of years ago. Mr. Bayless and his daughter not only teach cooking, they teach culture.
