It says 1973 on the album because it was reissued in 1973. The song is from 1962. Hell, they had already broken up by 1973, you turkey.

I absolutely LOVE this song and it cost me a $200.00 set of speakers back in 89 when I turnd my pioneer stereo all the way up!! It sounded like there was a band in my den,My son thought I had lost my mind Because I was ALWAYS teling HIM turn down the music!. So glad to see the original version posted, but where did the 1973 date come from? It was originally released in 1962 and was a top ten hit that year. It was a great song to do an early 60s dance called the Stroll to.

The only other 1962 issue available on you tube has been speed- increased (if you read the info) to avoid copyright pull - this is the correct speed !
