If you got the rings and cast reflect on Vivi (BlkMge) you can kill these at around lvl 12-16 and you can level up really fast at this spot just doing these in the forest b/c these are the only things here in the forest. Makes the rest of all the boss fights very easy if you level up to around 59-60 before leaving this area.

the best way to to defeat the dragon one time is easy. you don't even have to leave the island where you battle grand dragon. (You must have Quina) 1st run around on the shores till you battle whale zombie (easy encounter), then you simply weaken it and then 'eat' it with Quina and then you get LVL5 Death!! how cool is that. It is the best death hit in the game, and it hits every enemy in battle and it never misses other than the ones that are immune. hope this helps :D

My brother told me that if you use Lv. 5 Death on a Grand Dragon, that they'll fall instantly, but you can't get it as early as you're playing, if I remember correctly. We're both Quina fans, so, y'know. xD

I tend to stay away from the dragons until I get the Hilda Guarde 3, because then I can do Chocograph Hunting until I get the Ragnarok for Steiner and the flute for Eiko that gives her Holy. Then I use just Shock and Holy. No longer do they bother my guys!

oh gosh bro i give you props i figure this out too but i did it in disc 2. right after saving Garnet from the castle. but mine was less complicated. i had reflect on Garnet and vivi and then Zedine with the tunder absorb suit (forgot what its called) and quina was just there aha what i did was basically when it uses thunder attacks it just reflects to him and it does a lot of dmg keep on attacking it till it dies =)

@VanMedia Yeah I liked from mini-games like Cards , Chocobo Forests (especially Chocographs :D ) , Mog central , Rope jumping , Racing against hippaul , Frog catching ,even Delivering mail :D

And the music is something awesome , I actually liked from it , unlike some other FF's that actually just started to annoy me :S

The storylibe is smooth and amazing , it has some clever stuff and I like from the graphics , couse they remind me that you don't need awesome graphic to make an awesome game :D

I have always loved every tiny piece of this game. The starting goes way more faster than in other FF's, and if we go back to graphics, I like from graphics in VIII - X-2 becouse after that, graphics are in too great position when compared to storyline and other lil' things like I love the basic fight position, two sides, both have turns, you don't have to tilt analog to move like a monkey etc...I just hope that they would do another FF like this :P

You can get lvl 5 death for quina much easier then Limit glove, and then just use it to one shot the Grand Dragon, works just about everytime, the only hard part is keeping you alive long enough to pull it off, but with a little luck and a coral ring on quina you can lvl her? quite alot here, and the other chars who survive will get splashes of exp too=)

Now i know its really cheap, but its an abillity, its expensive, and its there for you to use damnit!:)

Because if you get the aqua ring (Or whatever Lightning-absorbing item it is) you can do it in the beginning of the game (gotten by winning the hunt)

Also .. If I could just remember my method .. I killed dragons in moments each with Freya, fairly early in the game - got her to level 81 while all the others were below 25 .. Meh, can't remember how I did - some kind of anti-dragon move she has, I believe.

@alex2217 Dragon crest possibly... It does more damage as you hit other dragon monsters with it.. it took a while for me to boost it up. :)

Just get Auto-Reflect on all the chars and ull be reflecting dragons thunder which makes the fight trivial, I personaly got to lev 91 at the start of the 2nd CD.

Auto Reflect came in Handy, I used it on the birds 1st, since they had less hp, and sometimes stop themselves even if i only got Ap when they did that. came. plus spending money at Treno helps

If you have auto-reflect on everybody you can reflect your Blizzara off of your part and it will be stronger then focusing a few times. :P

Cause i have the coral ring with 3 caracters equiped, and it absorves thundaga, thunders, lightening, etc. And with the other i have the reflect ring, it reflect some magic attacks.

Oh thanks for your comment. And it is true, the problem is that you can't use this spell on disc 1 and 2. That is why i did not write about it.

@tonybendei You can obtain an Oak Staff disc 1 through the Chocograph Treasure's once you've been through the grotto. that way you can use Bio with Vivi rather than Blizzara. Much more effective damage wise + has chance to poison doing around 865 damage (someone confirm that's the exact amount i have a feeling it may be 825) periodically as well. this way, one limit glove and one bio should be all you need. very simple. The element of luck is needed, but still easily doable. cool video =]
