@camaro866 : I come from Wisconsin and visited the deep south this past summer. I LOVE it there, but the number of times I was called a Yankee bordered on ridiculous. I ended up telling everyone, "Hey. We up there are over it. Y'all are the ones stuck back in the 1860s."
That aside, I greatly enjoy this song. It's catchy.

@Determined2Think hey i'm a northern by birth southern by heart I am born and raised in Kentucky but i'm considered a Yank when i went to visit my gf's grandparents for harvest season i went into town with him and this kid like a year younger than me said go back to the north u damn yank i grab him by his shirt punched him and kicked him in the ass and said i ain't no yank now get! and he and his buddies ran away i'm now living on my gf's grandparents farm as a worker (they grow cotton!!!!!!!!!)

Trent is an excellent singer. I love all his music cause its sang with such a passion behind it. I hope to hear more from him. Also just to make it clear i am a redneck and will be one till I am dead. For those of you who are oblivious to what the term redneck means. Redneck originated in the 1800's by farm workers who worked their ass off for a living. So next time you go to call someone a redneck please use it in the right way...

Trent is the man! I've seen him 3 times at some of our country fest"s Every time he's showed up in the beer tent and played 5 or 6 songs with the house band. One He came to our small bar And hug out till close.

I always joke with her saying "If you ever leave, I'll have them play that Trent Tomlinson song and you'll come back."

I remember I was living at Green Hill trailer park and my girlfriend at the time and I got in this huge fight. All because I drove my Datsun all the way home with no light on. She took off in her F-150 and I called my friend who was the DJ at the time at KLOX. I told him to play Rick James - SuperFreak and dedicate it her. She did show up but with her dads trailer behind her to pick up her shit.
