Boss is still growing an doing fine soon as my camera stops being weird i will post more of him he has grown acustom to pinning his rats down and bitting bits and peices off them i got him smaller rats so maybe he swallows them whole but nope does the same thing think he is just being an ahole

And that there is a natural born predator. Like most large lizards they DO enjoy this kind of thing so its easier if you think of it as... "enrichment". As for the mice, this is quicker/more merciful than freezer killed mice. At least this way the prety is generally killed through the shaking or knocked out. My old room mate's would shake a mouse in half then want to cuddle with you after -_-.

Naw Boss hates thawd mice he will smell it and move on which is weird becouse he eats ground turkey and his fruit guess he just likes to thrash and mangle his food once in a while
