  • its a very tasty recipe but someone should tell this guy the top of the banana helps you peel it lol. I def recommend the recipe

  • @StakyAll Its easier to peel it from the bottom, thats why monkeys do it.

  • thats alot of sugar.

  • I love this Kluay Buat Chee so yummmmmmmmmmmm

  • thank u for the recipe

  • I have made it now, tasty!

  • @Faiby wow, I cant eat it after a while, its tooooo sweet for me. Extremelly sweet. Uff

  • @Faiby use less sugar. I would also suggest adding a little bit of water to dilute the coconut milk if it's too pungent for your palette.

  • @supercooled I propose to use NO sugar :)

  • i just tried to make this and followed the recipe exactly. is it supposed to taste so salty and strange? i thought it would taste sweet...i just couldn't bring myself to eat it and ended up dumping the whole thing.

  • @ninthpage too much salt?

  • can you do this with fresh coconut milk from a coconut?

  • @marissapeacelove fresh coconut milk will make this ten times better.

  • Your cooking skills are so good... In half Thai and I have never heard of this... Yum I'm going to try it out... Krop koon kah...

  • this has a very strange taste

  • metal on metal? ouch

  • ummm... I wanna make this!!!!

  • can you do this with normal milk?

  • my two favorite fruits combined, /heaven

  • My girlfriend is thai and she never made it before but she is a great cook. Her grandmother made it for her in thailand i just made it and it came out great but i bet not as good as thai women anyway i hope she likes it to thank you :D

  • wow..it was so easy. i want to try cooking this myself!!

  • ahh i love that

  • do you know how to make other dessert, the colorful one

  • u can add also a sweet potato and tiny rounded ball glutinous flour!!

  • I make mine with lite coconut milk and use splenda instead of sugar, because this dessert can be pretty heavy in calories, fat and cholesterol. I know it's not authentic but it's pretty good adding pineapple chunks in with the bananas :) Whatever, I'm Thai!

  • its also pretty good adding nata de coco.fresh coconut meat.sweet potato.tiny rounded ball glutinous flour.and colorful tiny tapioca pearl!!! and add more fresh milk!! try it sweety;)

  • In Philippines we call this, Ginataang Saging.

  • uu nga ginataang saging ..pag hinaluan pa ng malagkit( glutinous flour) na binilog ng maliit sk kamote (sweet potato) sk sago (tapioca pearls) sk nata de coco ,kaong, macapuno sk add more fresh milk isa na cyang special BILO BILO!!! hehehe ang sarap db?

  • Yum!

  • I remember having this at a Thai restaurant- but they added little tapioca pearls. It was simply delicious. The best part is that it didn't have eggs or cows milk! Soooooo good.

  • i think i did something wrong

  • sounds delicious!

How could possibly get that wrong?

The method was hardly more complicated than making a cup of tea!

  • ummm. taste interesting but i recommend no salt. SRY.

  • what does it taste like

  • taste so nice and yummy !!

  • i luv this stuff :) thought it was complicated, but No

  • Holy schist! I just cut up bananas and put coconut milk on it and it tasted good, so I looked up bananas with coconut milk and this came up! Im a chef and I dont even know it...

  • If you let the banana dissolve, can you drink this?

  • i think that'll be a great milkshake

  • Oh man, I remember eating this a few years ago at my dads place.

Its really, REALLY good :) Thanks for upping this!

  • thanks i bought coconut milk and i did'nt know what to do with it .its delicious

  • THis looks werid - -*

  • LOOKS great !~!!

  • To lighten on the fat:

    Use 1/2 coconut milk

    and 1/2 Skim milk

    and lessen on the sugar

Using entirely coconut milk can be abit too heavy for some.

  • thanks

  • Just a thought. I've made this. HUGH hit. the second time I made it, I sprinkled shredded coconut over it. Just a little and it added a little crunch to it. Excellent with or without!!

  • Kai, did you share any more desserts? I want to learn how to make them all. LOL. Love sweets.

  • Thanks Kai. I love Thai and Khmer desserts!! They're hard to find where I live. This is great. I get to make my own.
