I remember watching this on TV - I was in my second year of sixth form, and had suffered from anorexia for two years. I was pretty much a bag of bones. My family was sat around me watching this too - and they did nothing.

Fortunately enough, I'm recovered now. I'm going to start volunteering with B-eat once I get enough distance to do so. People with eating disorders can be so easily ignored and they need people to be there for them.

First scene for a very long time since I have been watching TV has a scene moved me so much.

Tactfully acted scene, moving and upsetting but gets the point across. Melissa may have been wrong in some of the things but they had a tru bond most people wouuldnt and couldnt ever have.

I think about this scene at least once a week and the song is an ideal fit to it.

I just hope it helps and gets the message across to those that need it.
