Does growing the Salvia plant upside down have any benefits to the plant (faster growth, healthier plant etc) or is it just a novel idea? I'm interested in trying it with my next plant.

Hence the whole video is about an experiment to see what effects it has. The video owner does not claim that it has any benefits.
