  • I wish we could of witnessed a Bulls vs. Rockets NBA Finals in the 90's that would of been epic

  • What a passionate tribute to have. A very great song in the intro.

  • You can win a spot on Clyde Drexler's basketball clinic (deadline is March 30). Link: (j.mp/DrexlerClinic)

  • That song was from the 1996 Olympics on NBC, that's why they used it again I guess. it's called Capture the Dream

  • WTF!!! Greg Gumbel??? didnt know he worked for NBC at that time, guess i forgot

  • very under-rated series

  • Barkley, Malone, Stockton

All wanting a championship, none of them getting one

    Man this song is gay

  • lance-a-million jazz color stewie chain utah utah utah 801 salt lake city

  • Man what a ridiculously gay song. Anyone know where the full game of this is?

  • no shit sounds like that 1980's inspiration, heart of a champion bullshit

  • @dopafeind1

your face seems like some bullshit

  • yeah the full game is buried in an underground vault in new jersey

i tried to dig it up but this is all my dirt-encrusted fingers could pull up oh god i tried

  • @Blairbunke song gay like richard simmons, stockton, malone were something special along with barkley guess what they were all on the best ever dream team number one and only.

  • @Blairbunke I think rap is gay.

  • This was the last NBA Playoff game that Greg Gumbel would call (Marv Albert, Matt Guokas, and Walton would work the Finals). He would return to CBS Sports following NBC's loss of the NFL in 1998.

  • Good Lord, Steve "Snapper" Jones is the worst fucking announcer ever!

  • worse then Chip Caray?

  • yeah...listen how he always ends up comparing the game to something that's going on in his personal life and completely goes off topic...lol

  • @barkingclam lol

  • @NealDasgupta haha how???

  • GOOD GOD the fucking music, the horror.....FAIL

  • amen

  • it felt good when 1:40 came.

  • SOMETHING GOOD WILL HAPPEN TO U AT 9:10 SOMEONE WILL CALL YOU OR TALK TO YOU ONLINE AND SAY I LOVE YOU OR ASK YOU OUT BUT HERES THE CATCH Send To 3 vids

  • Sad that this was the end of the 90s era Clutch City but still these intros were the best....

  • @HuskerFanatic

It's hard to believe that Houston didn't win, with Drexler, Olajuwon and Barkley. They should've gone to Drexler more I guess.

  • @PJHunterTJ Barkley was on the downside of his career but still had alot in those 97 and 98 playoff runs. We had game 6 won but choked it away.

  • whats the title of this song

  • No idea

  • Capture the Dream by Stan Bush.

  • Thanks much sir

  • not as magical as "The Touch"

  • @MoCali123 Great Song, most bad people would be jealous of that song.

  • @jmkenola "Capture the Dream" by Stan Bush. That song was used in the 1996 Summer Olympics

  • @hornean Yeah, that's it. I had to go check it.

  • @jmkenola It sounds a little like the singer who did the endig song on First Blood. It's a Long Road

  • @jmkenola "Capture the Dream"

  • NBA on NBC intros were the BEST. The song, the shot of the city etc was the best. im a trail blazers fan and when my team was on nbc it was 10 times more exciting than the local broadcasst...the nba just isnt the same anymore, not only the gameplay but even the little things like this.....

  • @krnboyee Yes, you're totally right.

The intro was great, and the announcers were great. They actually understood sports.

The NBA just had more "Class" back then.
