Its the same thing that happens with Illidan....u defeat him...but he does not die... same will go with Arthas...in fact arthas hasnt died once even tho he is undead, he is just damned. I really dont believe either Arthas or Illidan will be gone for good. If they are both killed, they will return someday.

And for all those complaining about Arthas being "killed off", he cant be kept forever. If the enemies dont end up in combat with others at some point, the storyline wont get anywhere, so Im rather pleased with being able to take on Arthas.
