To paraphrase one of the Founding Fathers, Thomas required proof, and so do I. the 'constants'? No. If the Universe were different, it would be...different. 'Irreducible complexity?' No. We have excellent explainations. Not for everything. There are plenty of 'I don't knows' out there. But there are pretty good explanations for how DNA might have got going. The historical Jesus? Please tell me where you got your evidence on that, because I don't know it.

On top of cosmology, abiogenesis, and evolution...there are excellent neuropsychological explanations for religious belief itself. Some of these sciences are still new, somewhat speculative...but still so much more powerful than 'God did it.' Trouble is, 'God did it' can explain ANYTHING. Also, which God? This is not a silly question.

Anyway; glad you've found meaning and happiness. I'm not anti-religious, particularly. Just sharing why it doesn't work for me.

Few people grew up in a Christ centered environment. The rest of us have to "wake up". The true spiritual awakening that you experienced is awesome! Thank you for sharing this with me.

It saddens me to see people that have scales over their eyes. If they could only see the beauty and grace that God has put into everything in this world. If he only knew how much Jesus truly loves him.
