actually, I also have to say that Rooftop Run and Planet wisp sound pretty choppy, and the transitions between the two are pretty choppy as well :/ but still good!

to be honest I prefer the Generations version, but you did a nice job mashing this up. When the songs were playing in the arrangement of the Generations ending credits version, they sounded like they fit really well. The transitions from Chemical Plant to Sky Sanctuary and Sky Sanctuary to Speed Highway, however, seem kind of jumpy... everything else is really well done though. Especially the transition between City Escape to SSH and SSH to Crisis City <3 (though I woulda upped the intro chants)

Sonic is one year older then me. I only knew from the chartoons in the 90s. In the early 20s I played the adventur games. SA2 will always be one of the best story based games of all time as well as very bad ass gameplay based game.

I remember the days when I experienced what super speed was like, made friends with a fox, get ambushed by a red echidna, stopped a liquid creature from flooding the world, getting chased by the military, teaming up with friends and allies, dealing with a lot of loading screens and glitches, turning into a werehog, and saving a group of aliens from an interstellar amusement park that was run by an evil doctor. Sonic, you will forever share memories with me, and all of us Sonic fans.

@purrfectkitty22 Oh, here the opinion wars step in. Mario doesn't always rescue the princess, you know: Mario Party, Mario Kart, all the spin-offs (except Mario & Luigi and Paper Mario series) do not make you rescue royalty with a failed guard system. Complain to Miyamoto about that.

And I think by "more cooler" you mean "more varied" adventures. Sonic always tried something new, while Mario remained about the same, even in 3D, but don't try to fix what is not broken, you know.

Mario's main series: 178.19 million copies sold. Now, think about the spin-offs. How can you beat that?

Miyamoto didn't know what the NES can and can't do at that moment. And the Sega Genesis, being a 16-bit console, was able to render Robotnik correctly, so they let him in.

Anyway, Mario for the life.

@UltisonikkuShadokku Okay, well, not completely always. But every game had a different mechanic that made it unique. Unleashed (which was great, BTW) had the Werehog during the night. Colors had all the Wisp power-ups and you needed to use some to finish the game (very rarely, but sill there). BTW, where's my Boost in Secret Rings? You just had a level-up system. (or I must be thinking of Black Knight, another great game) YOU think before you type, "dude"!

But, for the sake of everybody's sanity, Mario and Sonic should finally make peace. They saved us back at that video game crash in 1970- something and will be alongside us for quite a while, so let's enjoy the sweet moments of gaming as they still remain. (I completely went off topic there, but I don't care. It was fun typing this.)

I personally think that, out of all the games used in this video, the ones from the top half are probably the best. Well, in my opinion, anyway. As for my first Sonic game.....I can't even remember, really. But I think the game that got me into Sonic in the first place was probably Sonic Mega Collection (the original version, not the updated one). I still have yet to play Sonic Adventure 1 and 2, though. But I swear, if one day I can get my hands on both of their Gamecube remakes, I will.
