@Szczecinski814 No problem, man. Don't get me wrong, the car pulled hard at mid-high RPM (sucks at lower RPM). All in all, I'd recommend for you to go smaller, especially on the displacement of an LS1. I think you'd be just as happy with a Torquer V2 from Texas Speed.
I was thinking about doing something very similar and I was wondering how the does that cam drive? Are you happy with it? Would you do something different? I would really appreciate the help. Thanks!
@Szczecinski814 I sold this car a couple of years ago. A cam this big should not be for a daily driven car. It bucks, it surges, it stalls out and I was replacing spark plugs about every month. If you absolutely MUST have this cam, DO NOT take it to East Texas Muscle Cars to have it tuned. If you want a cam for the street, go smaller. I can preach this until I'm blue in the face and you'll probably still go with it anyways. So, it's really up to you and I guess you'll learn. Good luck.
@rynoss21 Ya the car wouldn't be daily driven..but ya thats what i have been reading its to radical. But some say its fine so im not to sure, but im pretty sure im going to pass on the MS3 though. Thanks for you opinion i really appreciate it
@ghettobraden Yes, they are the factory wheels on 2005-2006 models. I think they look better than any aftermarket wheels I've seen for these cars. Of course, that's my own opinion.
@illbreakurface There should be no clearance issues at all, as long as you are using an unmilled head. Stock LS1, LS2, LS6, or 5.3L heads will have no clearance issues.
I bought the rear bumper on eBay. I can't remember the company but it was from an '06 GTO that had been hit in the front and they were selling the parts from the rear. I think I paid like $300 for it, and lucked out because it was already red. There's no "conversion" kit or anything like that. Just take the '04 bumper off and put the '05-'06 bumper on. Should take like an hour at the most.
Thanks! I posted the numbers in the description. 420rwhp/387rwtq. That was with 77% humidity. Stephen @ East TX Muscle said I could've seen around 435ish, if it weren't for the humidity. Oh well... Haha!
2010 Mustang? Shoot, a Type R will destroy that thing bone stock! Those things are so fast it aint even funny. Massively underrated by the magazines: they can pull low 12's with a good driver and 24.2psi in the tires.
@Solidus106 Thanks! I actually lucked out when I bought it, because it came off of a red car and I didn't have to spend any money having it painted.
