My family has had to recieve assistance. But going through the check out stand was a total nightmare. I hated it. It was embarrasing. I couldn't wait to get off of assistance. My mom and dad with 6 kids even through the 70s never had to be on assistance and that is all I could think of while we had to get help. Everyone can be put into a position where they need a hand up. There are just to many that don't mind being on assistance. Looking for a hand out to keep putting out.

I have been married 21 years and spent 5 christmas and new years with my husband. He now supports both of our parents and is glad to do it without them having to get help from other TAX PAYERS. Shame on you.

He just wants "benefits" like food stamps, because "benefits" are considered "entitlements" not "income." He doesn't have to pay taxes on "entitlements." The people using these "benefits" know how to work the system. His "benefits" come from those of us who work and struggle to pay our own bills. I don't "sponge" off the government. OMG I laughed most of the way through this. The pictures worked pretty well with the audio! :)  If radio is the theater of the mind and those are the images that came into your head you must really enjoy listening.

One obligation he has to his kids is to provide for them. Spending time with them and starving is the mark of a miserable parent. At some point it's not compassion to help those that can help themselves. Eight hours more per week can just demonstrate how hard they should work.
