The remaster of this album did help the sound of the album. In its raw form it sounded fine. I am glad the real cover of the album came out though! Megadeth for life!

No way they didn't re-record it. A lot of solos on those remastered albums are COMPLETELY different now. I grew up with the originals, and I just can't listen to the newer ones, without hearing the differences.
@assblast69 dude i just finished reading dave biography. he admits he didnt stay true to thrash: listen at risk, cryptic writings etc. they are not so thrash. at least they returned to thrash with endgame, unlike metallica
Megadeth did stay true to thrash, but that doesn't make them better. Megadeth and Metallica are two different bands with two different styles. Neither one is better then the other, it all comes down to a personal taste. End of story.

You can tell the difference between the remastered and origal albums by the front cover, the original has a real skull as the picture of Vic Rattlehead.
