Walter Gieseking: Piano Concerto in C major, K. 503 - Movement 1, Part 1 (Mozart) - 1953

Orchestrally speaking, this is the grandest of all Mozart's piano concertos. The solo part has has power and poetry in equal balance. Gieseking and the PO under Rosbaud have the full measure of the work's architecture and substance. I have this recording as a mp3 download, but the LP sounds much better.
