After listening to this exposition I have gained a "REAL" understanding of why David prayed earnestly (concerning his punishment from the Lord) that Gods Holy Spirit would not be taken away from Him. David saw first hand in his observance of Saul's life what it is like to live without the fellowship AND presence of the Spirit of God in our lives.
Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. Psalm 51:11
