I have a couple suggestions for a better hippo, though.

Oh my gosh, that is just soooo darn tootin' cute!!! This would also make an adorable bunny rabbit...you could do the inner ears pink! OR a beaver would be so cute too!!! It's amazing what you can do just by switching out the colors!
