I've usually enjoyed Lorna in other videos much more than in this performance; here she looks more like the protoypical Cuban ballerina (a la Viengsay Valdes); the stockier build and the emphasis on 'tricks' rather than purity of line.

Me encanta con algun detalle coreografico modernizan y renuevan. Para los criticos hay que hacer los fouettes con el cambio de brazos y frente, y la perfeccion mis amigos no existe son personas que bailan maravillosamente y lo mas cercano a lo perfecto perdonemos entonces algun detalle porque dentro de una funciòn eso es una nada. Emociones como las que ha desperdato en mi Lorna Feijoo, me atrevo a decir, solo Maria Callas.Extraordinario talento artistico, exquisita musicalidad, dominio absoluto de la escena, y de sus manos, algo tan dificil e importante en un bailarin. Magica mujer, arrolladora personalidad, y distintiva clase.

She's not hyper-extended (can you read her mind??), her feet are perfectly adequate, she obviously has strength in her center or wouldn't be able to turn or balance, and her arms and legs (?) seem just fine...not the greatest artist, but hardly the gorgon you seem to think her

onenumberone, did you see her torso moving all over the place during the performance? I didn't. Her centre was strong the whole way through to allow for the multiple pirouettes and balances. And hyperextensions are actually to do with the knees and connecting tibia and femur bones, you are thinking of extensions.

Surely the highest degree of technical difficulty I have ever seen in the Pas'.Lorna's variation is identical to the one Svetlana Beriosova did with Nureyev in the 70's. What Carlos does I doubt Vaganova could even imagine it.
