Really I am sick of remakes or reboots and Hollywood just needs to stop and give up on this shameless crap that will be most crap remakes or lame reboots and do something differen't. Example would be District 9 and how well that concept did with the film and on such a low budget.

the reason they remade friday the 13th is because ppl fuck up the movies like part 7,8, jason goes to hell, and jason X. the movies got 2 out there and wierd so the only way to make a good friday movie is to forget about all the bad movies and remstart from the begging

The remake of Friday The 13th is already made and it is out in cinemas now!!!! Since February The 13th which was Friday The 13th thats why they brought it to cinemas that day ... this movie is alot better if people keep in mind that its not suposed to be a remake. people keep calling it a remake but its just not. on the documentry dvd called "his name was jason" (you can buy it at walmart) the two screen writers say " its not really a reamke because he wasnt in the first one. It's not a reimagening eather because we're basicly geting back to what he was in the begging, a human. This film just lives along with the others."

isquirtmilk, I agree 100 %!!Ive been trying to tell people this!! I look at the new F13 as what it actually is...a new installment to the franchise (not a remake or a sequel) its not a reboot either. The new batman franchise is a reboot because its completly removed from the first franchise( parts 1 - 4) Its an all new franchise.

Excellent vid! I AGREE! Terrible remake. When the h***did Jason ever kidnap someone! Can't you see him at the local 7-11 buying his wanna be mommy a ham and cheese sandwhich and a big gulp. He had her for a few months! True Jason would have stuck that machete in her gut , cut off her head and kept just that. They turned Jason into a baby sitter. Utter garbage. The only humor Jason should have in his movies is how he just fu**ed someone up with a machete and kept it moving like it was nothing.

Just a correction, the Friday the 13th remake is actually in essence a remake of the original series Friday the 13th part 2 and 3, not the 1st one, otherwise there would have been a female shasher, Pamela Voorhees.
