  • this only show whos a better fighter not a better style

  • 2:01 even Jakie Chan came to watch! LOL

  • kung fu is like karate

  • did you film this with a frikkin potato?

  • Kung Fu had always been superior to Karate. over the years Kung Fu has evolved while karate remained a novelty.

  • 寶力高..柳海龍...都是中國散打名將..

    日本那些一個出名的都沒有...

    要真正比賽應該找MASATO那種人去打...

    我不是說中國人不能打,

    旦找國內名將對陣別人的無名小卒真的太...

  • 1p video!

  • Hei he looks like Jackie chan

  • better quality please

  • That chinese fighters put till the las breath to change the historical supremacy from japan and the attacks to china.

  • wow sloopy ass punching , maybe they should spend more time sparring than throwing kicks in the air

  • Boxing and UFC looks way more skilled than this.

  • i love the commentary.. so informative..

  • its not jackie..

  • this was done by a chinese organisation, probably instigated by the goverment, who guarantees that the japanese fighters are even truly japanese? And were they free to send whoever they wanted? this seems very staged to me. Also the rules allow throwing, so this is some kind of MMA K1 hybrid, not a karate\kungfu competition, the japanese fighters should be using judo in that case. My 10 cents.

  • @DaTensay

sanshou/sanda is a kickboxing form of kung fu with full contact rules and even more points allowed with throws.

But i agree it looks very staged. They should send a shoto fighter from japan to participate in here. its rules are similar but dont think the chinese government would allow it, afraid of losing

  • @FaridYM true! I like Sanda, and i think the throws are quite effective, it just looks to me like the japanese representative was not briefed on the rules before hand and has no grappling defense whatsoever. Now maybe of course the chinese fighter is just a beast and we're both wrong, but hey, we will never know ;)

  • @DaTensay

the chinese fighter looks like liu hailong who indeed beated a lot of thai and japanese fighters and even heavier fighters but unlike the title says I don't believe japan send their best fighters

  • karate originated frm kung-fu and so is tae kwon do, therefore i think kung-fu is the best out of all of them

  • @glswrath : yeah somehow thats true! but it would depend on the practice and learning what you do!

  • thats true! but it also shows that kung fu is nothing less compared to mma, kick boxing, karate or any other martialarts

  • china wins because Jackie Chan was thier coach :D

  • @feriz12 true xD

  • JACKIE CHAN!!!

  • this video shows the true power of a kungfu fighter

  • @Hanoshiro no my friend,

this video shows who was a better fighter :)

  • the thing about this is when a karate student gets taught, he/she gets taught to fight against someone else whos in karate. so when you take 2 people from 2 different ats, who knows what will happen

  • it is jakie chan!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • what i hear is OOOOOOOOOH OOOOOOOOOOH OOOOOOOOOOOH OOOOOOOOOOOOOH OOOOOOOOOOH OOOOOOOOOH OOOOOOOOOOH

  • ChinaManMatt808 It is lol !!!

  • @MegaRivers123 haha i thought so

  • blue side sucked

  • 2:01 loooooooool, jackie chan jajaja

  • i cant see who karate of kung fu they both do the same

  • @RepaleoN hahahahaha i have the same problem!!

shoalin monks kick all fighting styles up the ass.

    check out

    shoalin vs taekwondo

  • @shadowkid1993 Oh yeah, a Kung Fu would totally destroy someone like Fedor or Anderson Sylva LOL LOL LOL (sarcasm up the ass obviously)

  • @sensei420san a shaolin monk is not A Kung Fu shaolin monks are THE Kung Fu's

    they can kick errones ass

  • I think that the one with the MOST skills is the referee, he is like a dodging master! ESPECIALLY at 0:53

  • This looks like Judo to me.....

  • 2:01, ITS JACKIE. SURE. LOL

  • hey jackie chan at there lol

  • Sanda fighter r tough

  • y ppl still think that ''kung fu'' means ''martial arts'' ?????

  • Man, he's just rocking those takedowns.

  • The red fighters seem to have more fighting experience than the blue ones.

  • the chinese win due to the fact that, the competition was based on sanda rules and it takes accomodation to the kirate ppl.... as a chinese jiu jutsu artist~i feel that chinese had cheated a bit

  • I have to admit, an average Kung Fu guy would lose to any full contact karate fighter. Both fighters are good but trained for different rules. Let this San Dah fighter compete in Pride, UFC, Vale Tudo Brazil and he would be taken apart (even by Japanese fighters). In this match, the Chinese fighter won. Good for him. But there are just as many matches, if not more, with Chinese trained fighters losing.

  • you dont have to be super fast to be good at kung fu. it's not about speed or agility. fact is kung fu is a balanced art that is "whole-istic" if you will. it's not about one style though. there are many styles of kung fu that resemble karate and other martial arts. the true "power" of kung fu as i have known it lies simply in knowledge of physics and common sense. for instance, a muscle that is tight will use more energy and move slower than one thats loose. so loosen up. basic concepts

  • kung fu is awsome but u need god like speed and precision if u wanna use it or else u will get pwned...

  • @sing4beatles no you dont... it just matters on how good you are at kung fu.

  • @MyFightQuest when using kung fu ur guard is down so u need speed to dodge the strikes

  • 我们中国武术就是天下第一!

  • @fongdaihap 错了,可是你们和泰拳打平。再也不是第一。。。。泰拳也是第一了!中国花拳而已

  • In sanshou vs karate matches of equal skill, karate sport fighters almost invariably lose because they don't train in any grappling or ground fighting. You can't blame it on a deficiency of the style, as matches in each style operate on very different rules (and therefore training).

However, most Chinese styles teach grappling to some degree, while karate usually doesn't. But then there are other Japanese styles that do.

  • china boy kung fued japanese ass

  • lol the 3rd match the judges stopped the match bcoz they decided japan team fighter is too weak, cant stand a chance. And the whole 20matches its 20-0 =.=

  • 2:01. does anyone else think thats jackie chan? lol

  • @ChinaManMatt808 nah they look alike but the nose bugs me. i dont know you could be right lol

  • @ChinaManMatt808 That does look like Jackie Chan. But I think that that is his trainer.

  • @ChinaManMatt808 he has a big nose.

  • @ChinaManMatt808 OMG IT IS JACKIE CHAN XD

  • This is not traditional kung fu. Its sanshou/ Sanda kickboxing. Ordinary kung fu has no chance. Sanshou kickboxing is very similar to muay thai. Sanshou is the art of kicking punching throwing and some standup grappling.

  • Sanda Devores karate!

  • The problem with this is that it's fake. A real fight is without rules, without gloves and without a ring. Let's see them fight gloveless, without rules and on a hard ground. I think the fight wouldn't last longer than a minute, considering how fast the karate practitioner went down... Although, without rules, one can do a lot with just a little but of force. A quick and hard jab to the throat and a low kick to the groin would be sufficient.

  • hahaha on 0:43 u can see a dick on the blue thing... (idk what it is) lol

  • Thye win causae they train hard. Whoever put effort will win . Not kung fu that win its him himself that wins ^^

  • @MechPhantom suck my dick theres like 10 vs 10 ur comment its not right in this video. kung fu is the best no fucking thing can stop it.

  • @MightyHawkProduction firstly u dont hv a dick,so how can i suck it and secodnly how can kung fu be the best or undefeatable if the vid here shows that the kung fu guy got knocked the fuck out? bro use ur brain, all arts are good and no arts are undefeatable, after all styles dont fight styles people do,its just different skill levels not better arts,in other words, not better style only better fighters. See ya bro

  • @MightyHawkProduction i mean how can kung fu be the best if the have been cases of kung fu fighters got knocnked the fuck out by muay thai fighters(mainly muay thai),mma fighters and kyokushin karate fighters rite? No knug uf is not the best coz theres no superio style only better fighters, its jsut that the kung fu guy is good coz he trains harder than the karate fighter thats all, after all its not the art that loses, its the person himself that loses, ur very ignorant when u say kung fu is best

  • @MechPhantom you are wise to say that no style is superior and you also made a very good observation. Kung fu practicioners tend to get knocked out due to the fact that building up resistance may no longer be practiced in today's Kung Fu. Im not talking about strengthing limbs to block, Im talking about taking hits. It is only videos of shaolin monks or street performers that still practice building up resistance and not so much in Kung Fu today.

  • @AssassinGhost ahha thx ur not bad urself,u to are one of the few smart ones bro,yea shaolin is more of a performing art right now ,dats why they hv the time to do all dat, after all they dont fight and even if they fight, they too will lose just like any best fighter, remember no one is undefeatable. After all we are all humans, peace with u my smart bro,

  • @MechPhantom to my knowledge kung fu means hard work

  • @5thPhoenix yup but westerners tend to refer kung fu as martial art,but actually wushu is the term for maritla art,but wushu is now a strictly performace art ,so thats why ppl call it kung fu , the combat art of wushu

  • @MechPhantom ok I see you know the stuff ^^ Most ppl seem not to have heard the term wushu ever X)

  • @5thPhoenix haha yea lol , thx for the reply ur one of the few smart ppl that truly know kung fu and im happy to know . Thx peace bro

  • @5thPhoenix I heard that it means to do somthing consicely...without wasted movement.

  • VIVA !CHINESE KUNGFU!SANDA~~

  • thats not karate....

  • Its karate but china forces foreign fighters to fight by sanda rules.

  • oh yea? Sanda rules? huh gotcha

  • "The two sides all assigned their top fighters. "

I don't think this is true.

Top karate fighter will never fight like that.

  • @Picxxt neither would a kung fu one :)

  • The result is the best.

  • lol, kinda dominated...

in the 1st fight the japanese guy got thrown 13 times, the commentary says O_O

  • KUNG FU IS FAST LOLZ as scene to karate

  • pero vuelvo a lo mismo de siempre... como se atreven a comparar el KUng Fu con otros estilos? a menos que sea Wushu o Taichi no hay comparacion, es un sueño japones ganar a las artes marciales chinas

  • The title of this clip should be kick boxing, nothing to do with Kung Fu!!!

  • its kung fu sanda. its kickboxing with grappling

  • this is not kickboxing...this is called SANDA....in kickboxing you dont have this tipe of throws...the punches are diferent...and the kicks too

  • he strikes are the same as every other contact style and the throws are common to any wresling style. What I find strange about sanshou is that it doesnt look like any kungfu at all,in fact I think kungfu raining wouldnt prepare you for it at all.

  • @billysue2 a very good observation. You are correct, Sanda isnt a type of Kung fu its a type of wushu. Sanda was created pretty recently in China so most of the moves would have been a copy of Muay thai and boxing combined. Its not really a chinese martial arts because it incorporates Western and South eastern styles as well.

  • @AssassinGhost wu shuand kung fu mean all chinese martial arts, they are both collective terms ,not specific to a single style.Theres no thai in sanda

  • This is Sanda... a brutal style of Kung Fu (similar to Muay Thai)

  • is sanda a style of kung fu?It looks to me like a rule set that produces some good fighters but I dont see any kung fu.The throws are shua chaoi wrestling and what is particularly good is the transiion from sriking to throwing.

  • "is sanda a style of kung fu?"

Yes. Kung Fu is how the English language refers to all chinese martial arts since about the 70s. Before that they were all called Chinese boxing. Sanda is a type of Kung Fu, so is Thai Chi.

  • @TheEnoughsaid Incorrect Sanda is considered as a type of wushu. I am tired of explaining this again and again. If you really dont know the difference between Kung fu and wushu ask a practicioner you know.

  • @AssassinGhost ya sanda is the fighitng part of wushu and the useless flips and fancy weapon play is the taolu part, but i prefer the fighitng part ONLY so yea dats me,but i dont know bout u guys but i find flips, weapons trianng and other fancy stuff just useless and waste of time czo u too will not use it in a fight coz it has no martial value. see ya bro

  • chinese is fast...

  • street fighting? HAHAH YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING ME,

  • this is more like china vs japan. doesn't have any kung fu or karate moves.

  • uhm yea the karate guy was actually using kyokushin every time he kicks, or leg kicks, and same with punching, kyokuhsin really translates well into kickboxing when doing face punching

  • maybe if you looked harder you could see it

  • shansou :))

  • karate kungfu kicks no more, someoneelse's kick, pure copied and pasted ,what is that judo?wresting ?LOL

  • One is sanda(came from kung fu) and the other is Kyokushyn (came from karate) they also give punch and other things...and in judo they do not kick or punch the opponent

  • no more kung fu kicks,karate kicks.stances,steps.

  • the kid in red was stronger than his opponent

  • faster especially. The Chinese guy's reaction time is amazing. The karate guy starts a kick, the chinese guy finishes it

  • u.s ain't got no martial art of it's own...that so sad.

  • i think we do , kind of .we got most lethal weapon of them all, nuke :)... Heck don't forget Bruce Lee was the one bring us the idea of MMA . so umm in a senee. UNITED all martial art is AMERICAN martial art . (a.k.a Jeet Kun Do's philosophy )

  • no you don't have any...so sad cause you're not asian.

  • when ya look at the reason why and how BRUCE LEE come up with his Jeet Kun Do's philosophy , for example Western Boxing fence . kinda like whut the UNITED state mean . :). united teh best of the best to create our own version of it :) . and btw, you dont have to be WHITE to belong to U.S

  • Americans have Brawling, Wrestling, and Boxing ....and the most infamous one..... Street Fighting.

  • but that ain't no martial art and in street fight u guys can't punch for shit. all i see is just swinging your arms and ripping shirts off like you're going to butt rape the other guy.

  • lets not compare contries and lets compare fighters

  • ah, I see. In the US, where CMA are popular, but not studied in the numbers of tkd, karate etc, schools will teach san da, as a kickboxing program, in it's own right.

I went from forms, to sanda training, but couldn't make the two work. It's just a different torque with the body when there's someone resisting on the other end.

Great vid, I love this stuff

  • difference between sanda and full contact kick boxing and so on is sanda got projections most combat sports havent. As a sanda practioner you shall be trained in throwin your opponent all around as well as kicking and punching him... from federation to another elbows and knees are permitted..only thing missing in the rules is ground combat.

  • hum they should update it , get a ground combat . then it's will be an ultimate test for martial art :).

  • actually i dont like ground combat very much but yes i agree that part is missing and it would complete the whole figthing tecnique as a definitive-all -comprehensive-combat sport!

  • you are gay -..-'

  • karate = gay

  • Lol at how every comment got marked down.:P

  • thats kick boxing

  • search san da, that is what the chinese guy is using

  • no this is sanda

  • how always, kung fu is showing his infinite power.

  • AznSketchKid and melonbarmonster got it most correctly. this is just a form of kickboxing with a couple of throws

  • ouch, total ass kicking actions lol

  • this is either kickboxing or it is muay tai

  • no, the chinese dude is kungfu,

yeah i know i didn't belieave it eighter, but all they learn, come to a fight it all kinda look the same, if u don't belieave me, search for fightquest, and watch as the people come to china and fight kungfu dude, it look just like kickbox.

  • it only looks like kick boxing cuz it has kick boxing rules this isnt no holds barred street fight

  • search sanda, that is what the guy in red is using

  • sanda isnt a style sanda is just free figthing teh techniques u learn in sanda varies differently form masters n region but the government program is called sanda just like they have a national cirriculum for forms weapon chi gung everything

  • Many schools teach SanDa as it's own skillset.

There's enough restrictive rules, that it's to a figher/school's advantage to treat it as it's own thing.

I know this, because the school I attended (Chinese kickboxing club in Boston) Trains it's fighters to fight in SanDa.

Why rake the eyes in 'Forms" and then try to turn that into effective chinese kickboxing? These days, it's become it's own thing. Especially in the US

  • thay maybe sports sanda so all the skools can have a way fo full contact competition but in chinese teh word anda just means free fighting so ne form of sparring is considered sanda

  • the difference is that in a kung fu school, sanda (sparring) is only used as a means to develop reflex, stamina, stances in a fight scenario, mastery of fear (being struck), and ability to take strikes. if your school is teaching sanda (sparring) as actual combat (street fighting) then thats fine too, but you will leave out a lot of important techniques that can mean the diff. b/tween life and death in a street fight vs. multiple attackers

  • well said

  • wow shame on japan.

  • this is kick boxing... both of them are doing kick boxing.. just cos one from china and one from japan doesnt mean its kung fu vs karate you dick.

  • fuck head have u seen people get thrown around in kick boxing????

  • yup, that is because it is sanda=chinese boxing

  • Kung Fu Owns Karate XD

  • all u stupid noobs umm shaolin kung fu> tkd and karate

  • Judge the fighter not the art, THAT is what decides the fight.

  • the styles used in this fight neither resemble kung fu or karate as we know today...this is boxing, they might practice those martial arts...but if u cant keep your cool and focus....whats the point?

  • haha the style used by the chinese is called sanda or sanshou, also known for a sport.

this definetely contains kung fu in it. one of the chinese fighters is called liu hailong. search him up on youtube.

it is quite hard to recognise kung fu in this kind of quality. and its very hard to show with gloves, since most kung fu use all kinds or hand techniques.

  • who the fuck is who

  • is this supposed to be chinese UFC?

  • what color is kung fu and what one is karate

  • kung fu boys are all in red.

  • I Like Kung-Fu a whole loe better than karate. Karate just seems to stiff. Kung-fu in my eye,s is stronger, faster, and more disciplined. Muay Thai and kung-fu are my favorite martial arts. Jeet Kune do, Chai li fu. (Hope I said it right).

  • @BoyBlaze2002 mine is Hong Quan and Yong Chun. I use the combination of them hehez

  • @BoyBlaze2002 Well, IMO karate is about delivering heavy and sudden bursts of punches and kicks. Kung Fu is more about agility, speed and reaction.

  • @92397658

    you really think soo???

    lol

eso es un estereotipo, un prejuicio

jajaja, estas muy pasado a peliculas

  • Kungfu doesn't only grapple it

However, it knows the culture of China is understood and a true zen in that finally

    takes notice

  • you do not understand an old culture of China.

there is a zen of which China's takes notice on the inside grappling it.

  • kung fu cool!

  • is that jackie chan in the audience? LOL

    and yeah, Kung ownes

  • This video is embarrassing Chinese people. Putting up a video of no name loser Japanese fighters as being "top" fighters is just pathetic especially when MMA Japanese fighters are well-known around the world.

  • You just have no concept of China, together with Chinese Kungfu. So you have no qualification to post comments here!

But Chinese people now trying to make foreign countries to know China is the truth. We are developping~

  • Most Chinese are clueless about their own culture. They don't even know their own history. They can't even get open access to the internet for goodness sakes. All the great Chinese scholars would roll in their grave if they knew the classless, schlocky, peasant craphole modern China has become. Give me a break.

  • I agree with the core of your message totally. BUT.....the same can be said of most Americans. They know very little about anything inside America far less outside their borders. Please don't say that they don't need to know because they're the greatest nation and anywhere else does'nt matter. The whole nation consists of "foriegners" But do they realise this?

  • America is too individualistic and capitalistic for the government to feed sterilized history and culture. China on the other hand openly rejected its own history and culture during the cultural revolution. US is a much better nation than China in all the ways that matter. China is a communist, peasant craphole.

  • China is a nation, which is even more capitalist than the USA, but hides this fact under a blanket of false communism.

  • Keep thinking this way, and your game will be over soon.

  • hey idiot, didn't you know that the Chinese Government are regulating all internet traffic in their country, that's why nobody can just get internet access. Most of the people over there don't care about the internet anyway they are content on what they have and to be away from people like you.

  • no crap stupid.

  • go to China and see what's really happening. you're still living in stone age, man.

  • none is superior everyone has a skill lvl

  • do u know the difference between MMA and KARATE.

check their titles again..those fighters are KARATE champions in japan.

    the game is VS KARATE..KARATE..

  • these guys are proper professionals, if u watch the original video (this one is cut up) you will see the japanese coach guy interviewed and they even had a news conference etc for this event.

this isnt bullshit like that video of some pansy japanese nerd guy pretending to be a drunken style kung fu master vs karate vid. man that video was just bullshit.

  • They're no-names with no record in any of the Japanese fight leagues.

  • No on the contrary they are some of the best Karate fighters under two of the best names in Kyokushin Organization. The Japanese karateka are all Kyokushin Kan fights champions or second places. They were led by Royama Hatsuo and Hiroshige Tsuyoshi. Both Royama and Hiroshige admitted the cause of the defeat is that in Kyokushin competition hits to the head with fists and throws are not allowed, but in Sanda they are. They started promoting hits with fists to the head in their fights.

  • Kyokushin don't fight with gloves in boxing rings. The ring version of Kyokushin is K-1.

  • the only reason japanese fighters r well known in mma cuz pride was a japanese promotion n mma isnt even that big its still developing china is still recovering from communism so they do not care much 4 mma let alone even know wat mma is when mma gets big enuff 4 the government to care they will send in their champions to conquer mma

  • Japanese are slightly smaller than Chinese
