She is older than her brother and probably helped him to become the great player that he is or was. He no doubt would beat her one on one but that is because of his size and ability but you can rest assure that she would go all out to beat him. She was a great player with great skills and would no doubt have more competition today as the ladies' game has better than it was when she played but great athletes step up. She was the best that I saw in that era and few could play with her back then.

@dericksteinard Today's players have a whole new world of equipment, advanced physical training, and supplement/vitamins/sports drink/dieticians/enhancements than 30 years ago. They are surely not naturally more athletic(as human beings do evolve as such over a mere 30 years). Give the old school players access to the same equipment and they wouldn't be any difference.

great player, but the level of athleticism today in the women's game today is so much greater. it's hard to compare between eras but i would take diana taurasi or cynthia cooper over cheryl miller anyday.
