Question 1: Can you dig up (with a shovel) a spade full of ivy & transplant it to another area?
I have a very large embankment (100ft x 75ft) that I would like to have it covered with ivy and I have a friend who wants to get rid of a large ivy bed from her yard.
Question 2: Any suggestions on removal & planting of large ivy transplantion would be greatly appreciated.
i just bought a house in southern illinois. The house has ivy growing all over it. I have heard that it can destroy a home. Can anybody tell me how to get rid of it? Thank you so much.
Thanks for the video. Do you suggest using Roottone on the ends before planting? Thanks again.

That stuff is an invasive weed on our island. It grows all throughout our forests. However it can be a nice plant if contained.

It's invasive everywhere. It actually grows wild just about everywhere as well.
However, it is one of my favorite plants. I love the sight of ivy growng on trees and walls of houses, even though such actually destroys the houses.
I even have a video of how to grow ivy cuttings.

I'll be sure to make a vid. of a massive English Ivy that grows in the wild here. The vive trunks are over 1'ft around easily.

I have Ivy, Holley Trees, Laurels and Daphne growing throughout my forest. I like the plants, but they can be invasive.
