@csideparknj - Totally agree, man. James Gurley was THE psychedelic guitarist ... before Jimi Hendrix hit the scene. In somes ways, James was just as great as Hendrix ... in a different way. You could listen to about 30 seconds of a song from Big Brother, and you KNEW it was them! You really couldn't say that about any of the other Haight-Ashbury bands. Thanks for your great comment ... such a powerfu song. i wish we'd had janis around longer than we did. we lost the best female vocalist of all time when we lost her. and we didn't just lose a singer - without her voice, janis was still an incredible, amazing woman and with her death, we lost a precious woman. in every way, janis was indeed a gem.

Thank you for appreciating Janis. She was the very best vocalist in rock history. She was a woman way, way ahead of her time. She suffered tremendously because of foolish people with closed minds.

Every woman entertainer in popular music owes Janis much gratitude. She was the trailblazer who paved the way: the first Female Superstar in popular music.

hours non stop....Maybe its the boostaroo,

but the front guitar just blows your face out.....
