Hmm, maybe an american accent? First I thought it was different levels of voices(olika stämmor) which made it sound suspicious. But It might be another accent as well.
Almost 15% of the Swedish population emigrated to America and many went to Chicago and the surroundings. This makes me happy and a bit proud as well being a swede. Thx for uploading this.
It's not polite to laugh at other people, Clabbe. During the emigration about 1,3 million Swedes moved to America.
The movement started around 1840, when the Swedish population was 3,5 million. 70 years later, when the emigration stopped, the population was nearly 6 million. Go find calculator.
I was laughing at the statement, not at the person. You're a typical female swede who only read some parts and then figures the sentence out for whatever you think it means. I found a calculator btw! 1,3/6=0,21666 which is 21,6% and NOT 33%! And concerning the facts: §1:ABOUT?!1,3 million §2:AROUND?!1840 §3:NEARLY?!6million. No need to comment this. Get ur facts straight please. You make me unproud being a swede. The emigration hasn't stopped you know.
Since you being a typical female from Sweden who generally only reads bits of text and responds to whatever you think it might mean, I will reply with facts. I was not laughing at the person but the statement. 1,3/6=0,21666=21,6%->21,6% is NOT 33% but maybe your calculator's having a bad day?
Considering the facts you state:
§1:ABOUT?!1,3 million §2:AROUND?!1840 §3:NEARLY?!6 million Facts are not nearly, around and about. Facts are straight. Like when considering your facts 21,6%. U'r OWNED!
The way you do your calculation is correct, however the figures are wrong. I will give you example:
In 70 years, 1,3 million swedes emigrated to America.During the 70 years of emigration, the population in Sweden raised from 3,5 million to 6 million.
How many percent emigrated during thoose 70 years?
The answer is simply to take 1,3/6. Otherwise you have to consider every year, not one figure from 1840 and the other from 1910. Do you understand how it is done? Kom igen nu grabben! LOL
Awesome, make me proud being swedish!

It wasn't 15%, almost a third of swedens population (~33%).
Nice by the way girls! Just try to erase some of the american accent in the songs.

Interesting to hear Americans sing Swedish songs.
But what's the hurry? This is almost 50% faster than I have ever heard it before.
