You know something these past 9pm episodes have made me worried, but this one has definitely been the best one so far!

Excellent work, it had everything "The Bill" needs! It had crime, drama, personal angles and references to past events; that's exactly what the show needs!

I hope to see more episodes like this in the future, especially one with Smithy simply because he's my favourite character.

Once again well done! Great work!

They aren't going to get rid of it just because a few fans complain. Just accept the changes and enjoy the show. It's not *that* distracting.

I'm never going to like it or the new theme tune!

I'm not saying I don't like the show; I do think it's good... although I miss all the personal angles and they were mostly dark.

I don't see how a tiny bit of BG music can put people off. I'm glad they changed it and the theme tune, it was old and stale and it's a fresh new look for the show.

I agree with the personal angles though. I can't see it staying the way it is with it all being just about the case and nothing else.

They might as well not bother having established characters if they don nothing with them.

The HD is Ok and the occasional effect is good but I think it should be rationed.

The theme tune needs to have a decent tune to it. Something that can be remembered by people. The Bill always seems to have unique theme tunes, until now sadly.

I mean it was doing fine without music for the past 20-odd years, so this music is really unnecessary.

The Bill has always had a theme tune though.

I think a theme tune is important though. It sets the scene nicely in my book. So many shows on other channels just show the title and thats it, no music, and it gives the impression that the show is made by lazy people. Thank goodness, at least, that The Bill does have a bit of music, even if it isn't as good as that last one (in my opinion)

Well I just don't think The Bill is a program that needs music. I mean, it would probably be better if it had some some classical style of music and not just contemporary.
