very nice cover man! in my opinion it is very close to perfect. you just missed the bends in the 17th fret of the B string of the first pentatonic lick. Just a detail though. Keep rocking!
@IwillbeWaiting Thanks a lot! I didn't miss the bends, but they were executed poorly. The bends need to be quicker, harsher and it needs the powerful vibrato as well. I had problems doing that when I could only use my second finger for these bends (my third finger is messed up). Wasn't fast enough for that. :C
nice man, I also have the same guitar and I love it! I like the bridge pick up especially the singe coil but the neck pick up doesn't sound great to me.
I have the same guitar, changed the pickups to iron gear hot slags and then changed them back again it was the wrong pickup for the guitar I lost all the bottom end. i'm soldering a Rolling mill overwound when I get a chance, I think it might be better. I've put the neck back to the original too. cool sound as this clip shows.
Stock Ibanez designed Dimarzios. I honestly don't know much about pickups and don't have much experience with different kinds, but I'm happy with the sound I get from them.
ah, the Hot Grinder pickups, made only for prestige model Ibanez's, you can't get them seperately either. Apparently there were major sustain issues, so Dimarzio and Ibanez got together and made these. I'm about to get this exact guitar aswell, nice playing BTW.
