I literally, do not care, about the fact so many people hate Simon. I always have, ever since I started watching this show 5 years ago, and always will, like Simon. He speaks his mind, and alot of people on these shows don't. He's straightforward and is not afraid to show it. I actually have watched many American Idol auditions, and in interviews I've watched in the passed Simon says that he watched it back and at times was shocked and felt bad. Obviously the contestants weren't getting the truth from anyone else so someone had to step in. He clearly has a heart shown by more ways than I can fit here. He even brings kids from a childrens hospital to backstage at the X Factor and has said that he is leaving all his money to charity after he dies.

I suggest you take a moment to watch some youtube vids of American Idol auditions and witness for yourself the incredibly callous, cruel manner in which Simon ruthlessly and hurtfully disses weeping, disappointed contestants, rather like slowly pulling the wings off a fly. He's a fucking sadistic monster. I hope his dads death would of taught him what 'sorrow' feels like.

I actually have watched many American Idol auditions, and in interviews I've watched in the passed Simon says that he watched it back and at times was shocked and felt bad. Obviously the contestants weren't getting the truth from anyone else so someone had to step in. He clearly has a heart shown by more ways than I can fit here. He even brings kids from a childrens hospital to backstage at the X Factor and has said that he is leaving all his money to charity after he dies.

If they have potential he is always like "come back next year sweetheart, we just think your voice needs some work" and if not he says no, but gently! Hadn't had that profound a loss of someone he loves until he's an adult? I hope Simon's aware of the blessing that is. Not many people can say that. Doesn't matter how old you are, losing a parent---the world is suddenly a strange place. Generally, I think he's an ass. But he has my sympathy here, and I'd tell him, his father knows he's enjoying success now.
