@RebelElite Yes on HS Froshgrades. Less so if you are CA community college transfer (w/o any "W's",No Passes/D/Fs---EVEN IN CLASSES YOU never needed-FIERCE competition. But, you WILL submit official HStranscript. UC's not accepting as many California CC transfer students;so get A's! Take college prep/IB/AP/GATE/especially TRANSFERable jr college classes in HS--get A's (no lower than a few B's). UCSB is now VERY competitive. Consider going to Calif. jr. college first. Get High GPA! Good luck!

@RebelElite If in doubt, try going to santa Barbara City College for he first two years; your credits will transfer, you'll save money, and you may qualify for a scholarship. I've never regretted doing that. best of luck to you!
