  • Mike's work ALWAYS impresses!!! The best out there, IMHO!! Love his site!!! I check his site daily for more fantastic images and vids!!! Thanks for the RSS feeds Mike!!!!!!

  • Where did you get the creepy music?

  • @tudssquadbuisness Protip: Read the credits.

  • Absolutely beautiful, and sinister at the same time. Nature never fails to amaze me.

  • OMG, it's the most amazing video I've ever seen!

  • Time lapse at 2:25 is flat out amazing, that storm was certainly a beast of a storm. I want to get a chase up in Nebraska or South Dakota and see one of those storms in person. I have seen 13 tornadoes so far and storms with good structure along with crazy mamamtus clouds, but that mothership type storm I haven't got to see yet. Awesome video and storms.

  • awesome supercells

  • Beautiful presentation ! I love storms that you can't imagine. I'm from Romania and I hope that I will can see one day such storms like that ! The supercell thunderstorms are the most dangerous, powerful and beautiful meteorological phenomenon in the world... seriously !

  • WOW! Always a fan of mike's work; this is no exception. Superb footage, I especially love the "roll" (time lapse) of those mammatus-clouds at 0:44: it looks like a huge wave being filmed under water. Love your work mike!

  • whoooa

  • I think it'll be hard to beat that storm in South Dakota....

  • !!

    Gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I would have loved to been at the SD beast.

  • Mike is what I considered one of the most talented storm chasers in the country. Extreme Instability is a constant source of inspiration to me not only for the ability to document storms, but the ability to capture these storms and produce incredible images.

I am thrilled Extreme Instability has not been caught up in the whirlwind of streaming video chases. He spends time analyzing storms and creating artistic images first, then presenting well executed media.

  • I have a feeling this is gonna be watched alot during this winter '09-'10 as a cure for SDS untill next spring.

  • That Cherry Co beast was the storm of the year

  • Awesome. Just awesome.

  • I believe the headlights at 3:38 are mine. That storm should have official been named the "sand blaster".

  • I love it Mike, I know what I'm getting for Christmas!. Keep up the great work.

  • great stuff as allways

  • 0:44 Wonderful Cloud

  • mmmm..... porn

  • No, better than that: favorite-ing. =]
