This is unacceptable! Unfortunately, the hospitals probably were told not to help those women. The military was probably at the hospitals working with the hospitals staff and coordinating efforts to victimize these woman. The soldiers were probably encouraged to do this brutality by their superiors. Hopefully, the people in other countries will ask for justice for these people.

Rape has been a 'weapon' of oppression in war forever. Soldiers from every army, and in every conflict, have raped and sexually abused women and children. You may be shocked to learn that it is even happening right now in Iraq and Afghanistan by US led forces. Plenty of sources on the 'nets are reporting it, but keep in mind that what you hear about is tiny in comparison to the true extent of rape in war. It is mostly never even reported for fear of reprisals.
