i dont speak swedish much but i noticed that many swedish words sounds more like polish (from north poland dialects) like Jag = polish Ja, Swedish Ja (yes) is the same as polish yes (Ja, but only in north poland, rest say tak), simmilar names (Svenska - Polska, Svergie - Polskie) and so on, im curious where did come from those similarities
as i said, that only exist in north poland (like Cuyavia etc) maybe it come from goths?I have no idea but my dialect got more germanic words than slavic
Language sure tells a lot about mentality.^^ Swedish somehow is cute, it actually sound a bot osmanic sometimes, for... some vocals relative to our Umlaute. Speaking german: you know it´s reputation: lotsa imperatives and a straight forward grammatic. Good for D/S purpose, im actually teaching some punchlines to peps on fetlife^^. I forgott to mention the option on word-combinations: "Trannymakeupbeautiesessionhour" actually is correct (new-)german grammar^^.
@Baito009 No, but we have another phrasing in swedish. "name is", is a verb in swedish. The "act of having a name", it's called 'heter'. So we say literally "I'm having a name, Hanna". It's hard to translate when there is no english one word for it, as in swedish. :D
@tsloverlarry Well some French loans do exist. How ever does not beat German loans by a long shot.
Also some words may also look similear to English speakers because both English and Swedish being related languages and also alot of Norse loans borrowd into English during viking times :)
Trevligt med lite svenska ibland också, även om man kan det själv flytande, tycker dina vid's är väldigt trevliga dock, ger mig en insikt på en vardag som jag inte själv har !:3

Well gender may still be found in some frozen terms and dialectal more or less :) Some areas have more preserved it in adjectives and distinction like sygg-a feminine and snygg-e masculine.
I would give as a tip to foreigners that en-words is in generally used for living things ( allot of exceptions but what ever) since they where previously masculine and feminine nouns and ett words are usually for none-living things that are from older neutral nouns.

@Baito009 The word for "my" is "min" (also same as "mine").

@theswedishshemale ok, well at 6:12 you say my name is hanna as jag heter hanna not min heter hanna. did i just find a mistake in your swedish??

Anser du dig själv att vara kvinna eller man eller transsexuell?
Lortagreb 1 year ago
@Lortagreb Jag har en kvinnlig könsidentitet, en mans könsorgan, det betyder att jag är transsexuell. Allt beror ju på hur man definierar "kön".
