The funkateers was nice, but the Junior Jits with Darryl King, Cheese, and Ivan would have smashed these cats...and Kano with Hook and J.R. was nice! Kraftwork with Clint and Ern was nasty and Cybtron with yours truly was nice too!
the guys in the video are Eddie miller, Cricket, Tony Warren, Tony Lacey & Michael Kelly. all from Inkster. When tony L. left Jeff Healy took his place.
First of all these guys are from Inkster and they aren't jitting! They are Funkateering get it right! Inkster and Ypsi was the dance capital during this time. Funkateers, Paradize Poppers, Tic, Click, Majic, Royal Flush. I remember Cricket and Bronco and Tever and I can't remember the lead Dancer for Majic but these guys had the baddest groups out at the time. I believe Bronco later danced with this group. Oh yeah, Jeffrie was the guys name from Majic
Yes, the original post was way better. The real music from back in the day needs to be played for the funkateers. This music is more for Jittin than funkateering.
Wow...I did not know this was on here..!! These are my fellas... I've been looking for video on them for years..!! thanks for posting...more, please...
I came out to Cail in 87 from Detroit and hooked up with B- boys from NY, House crew from Chicago and My Homie From St. Louie ...When I showed them Funkateer they lost they mind. FUNKATEER, JIT, AND SCHOOLCRAFT RULES

Jitting and funkateering. The new music just spoiled it. Thanx for posting it though. You can see where Clown and Crunk dancing came from.

One of these dudes worked at Puffer Reds in Ypsi during the 90s. ...Can't remember his name though.
Tic and Majic, I remember those groups too. I moved to West Willow(Ypsi) from Grand River & Greenfield(Detroit) in 1981.
