doesnt matter for one the whole thing should have been staccato and it just added shit that shouldnt be there

As I said, it's a big band, so naturally the original small ensemble arrangement couldn't be mimicked closely.
And why expect so much anyway? these are young kids.

Not digging the arrangement. The beauty of St. Thomas is in its simplicity. You shouldn't try to complicate things.
