The real story to this soccer match was not the obvious blowout. But, rather what happened the moments after the final horn. It was a moment of the American girls coming to grips with compassion and love realizing the pain of those caught in a human tragedy. Just Google "ESPN E:60 Haitian U17 team". Be sure to watch the video with someone you love.
Even here in Brazil the hug and emotional moment by the Haiti goalkeeper and the U.S. players were in the news. Can't believe that moment is not in this video. Could anyone post the Yahoo link or other video's URL that has that moment? Thanks!

But that was long ago. I really don't care, just do not like the pomposity of
people saying you rule. By what ?? Kicking over some poor countrys' sandcastles, while ruining your great grand childrens chance of being out from behind another generations debt? But at least you guys have a justice system that is 100 times better then ours.(Minus Guantanimo)
wish there was video of the after game compassion.... Concacaf are you listening...when something transcendent happens during your little tourney, might be nice to show it.
Speaking of dominance, did you watch the Olympic hockey in Vancouver 2010? In the womens hockey Canada 2 and USA 0, And in mens hockey Canada 3 and USA 2 and WAIT Were those tears in the American eyes oh yes, YES they were!!! ASSHOLE

Is it really crucial to show (and describe with such over-the-top adjectives) every goal of a 9-0 rout? I don't think so. There is more to sports coverage than showing all the goals. Especially in a mismatch. Find the story, not the play-by-play.
You did see best part of game. The American dominance. The Haitian goalies tears just add to the oceans made by the weeping of the vanquished opponents of the everlasting rulers of the earth.
On August 24, 1814, the British Army had overrun confused American defenders at the Battle of Bladensburg and marched into the nations capital of Washington, D.C., which had been abandoned by the military. After burning and looting the White House, Capitol, Treasury, War Department and other public buildings and forcing the destruction of the Washington Navy Yard, the British carted public and private possessions back to their ships. President James Madison and the entire government fled.
What's your point? In both wars the Americans eventually sent the British running (sailing). We won in both cases. The Brits failed in their efforts to both deny the colonies independence and destroy the new republic. So what's your point?
The Invasion of Canada in 1775 was the first major military initiative by the newly-formed Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War. The two forces joined there, but were defeated at the Battle of Quebec in December 1775. Canada. NEVER TAKEN OVER. EVER. WE BURNED YOUR WHITE HOUSE TO THE GROUND AND ATE ALL YOUR PRESIDENTS FOOD!!!MMMMM Big Macs!!!
Yahoo had an article where the US goalie comforted the Haiti goalie after she fell to her knees and started crying after the loss. Would have been nice if this video caught that. Nice job...
Damn...we got our ass handed to us.

My point is that tonthorn23 says that you are the everlassting rulers of the earth. That is funny
considering you Americans have never occupied Canada
without you tucking tail and running back
home with a freshly spanked bottom! Plus we drank all your presidents wine,
ate all his food and burned and looted the whitehouse!
HAHAHA We rule the earth!! We are not indebted to China for our
great grandchildrens money and we export the most
oil to you. Export Electricity to you. Just saying .

@grtmd My point is that you guys are not the rulers of the earth. You just like bombing people ocationally.

My heart goes out to the Haitian women who have endured so much and still displayed class, sportsmanship, and love.
