  • he made a deal with the devil to come back rapping? funny how one of the skits of his album, rakim says that 1997 was a perfect time to come back. after biggie and 2pac were assassinated?

  • this vid is so symbolic.

  • WHO ARE THE 2 CHICKS WITH THE DEVIL?

  • why does lil wayne have a million+ hits and, this barley has 80,000??

  • @xFhxGamingx Because they fiddle the numbers , both ways , Rakim wouldnt play the game he wanted to awaken and wont ! Sell his soul ... Warrior of a higher cause than dollars or dirty secret sects ..

  • Rakim is untouchably dope, and this joint is peerlessly perfect, diamond-sharp skills. God said: "Let there be Hip-Hop", and then there was Rakim.

  • One of my most favorite music videos of all time.

  • I get high reading Rakim's lyrics!

  • Rakim was talking how the rap game had been taken over by the the snakes since hed been away , much love to the awaken x

  • Rakim and Big Daddy Kane are the two best MC's of all time!! not 2Pac or Biggie... these two are still great but comparing with rakim or bdk they are shorties ya'll.. Merry Xmas from London!!

  • @9utub disagree. Rakim and BDK are better than Biggie yes. but Pac... TUPAC? that dude atleast to my generation, meant a WHOLE lot more too us than just another rapper, that guy saved souls and has legendary status with John Lennon and Elvis

  • @BigBoiBoss3456 yes it's true 2Pac is the most influential rap in history and is one of my favorite icons in world's history even compared with Gandhi and yes John Lennon. 2Pac may be one of the best in history on telling stories and rapping about the ghetto life but he loses in the rhyme and flow department to the likes of Rakim, BDK, Nas, KRS-ONE or Jay Z. But no one can disagree he is the most influencial rapper of all time!

  • @9utub yeah i would agree with that ^

  • @9utub i would agree with that ^ minus Jay Z, he doesnt spit near the type of rhymes he used to, if we are talking Reasonable Doubt Jay Z then yes but New Jay Z no

  • @9utub BDK's second album slipped badly i think

  • @05jake5 It wasn't as good as the first, but was dope too. In my opinion in a rap battle BDK would beat Rakim's ass, but rakim is the most influential MC. he is more creative, more consistent and has a unique flow. The 2 of them are true hip hop legends

  • all rappers are in rakims shaddow

  • Why the fuck everywhere i go the top comment is about this how to rap book its fucking annoying as fuck plus the fastest way to learn is by listening so stop spamming you stupid idiots...

  • @hiphop4life24678 lol I had top comment was removed , glad someone noticed theres something wrong you can also improve and learn by dreaming or dream yourself into this world ..

  • Rakim is the True Greatest Of All Time. Rakim's skills and lyrics are unmatched by anyone else in the game. I just hate how a lot of people have never heard of him. If it wasn't for Rakim there would probably be no rap. Rakim influenced many of the greats. Rakim is and always will be the GREATEST OF ALL TIME!!

  • @GengarBeastLvX love rakim!... but Pac > Rakim

  • many ways to say the unsaid

born with 3 sevens in my head

    oh ya !

  • maaan, you don't see music videos like this nowadays !

  • such a classic flow

  • Rakim was showing how Rap had been taken over by the Lizard Zionists ..

  • To this day, Rakim is the greatest flow rapper of all time. He flows like no other.

  • @Animatratus tupac** then rakim

  • @thepurpletruck Rakim is better than Tupac. if it wasnt for rakim there would be no tupac or rap

  • @GengarBeastLvX what !!!! whitout ice t rakim wouldent exict

  • respect to REAL HIP HOP

  • Rakim >> Illuminati

  • @cypherg reptilian eyes ;)

  • BEST SONG EVAH!

  • @caterpieglvx I agree friend, it is so obvious Zionists run music , only there puppets succeed Rakim is to clever for them to trust and wouldnt work for them anyway .

  • @enlighten09 cheers friend , they run media , movies , music , and money too , but the power we give them that lol because we outnumber them in the billions , thats how the few control the many , nice to be awake man dont you think :)

  • What a fucking lame clip... Great rapping, however.

  • yo illuminati is so in hip hop.

  • dude looks like kevin garnett

  • Dude said "Some of the things I know, will be in your next Bible When I die go bury me and my notebook in Cairo"

    Legend

  • killuminati

  • Rakim's rhymes are disected in a book which has exclusive-interviews with all the best MCs, like Big Daddy-Kane, G Rap, Chuck D, Masta Ace, Pharoahe Monch,,Q-Tip, Buckshot,,Sean Price, AZ, etc.

all those interviewz are in the book, called:: ;HOW. TO; RAP

  • ill video

  • Clark Kent laced a sick beat on this one. Rakim ate this one alive!

  • illuminated song fuck this!

  • Rakim one of the best rappers ever no doubt!

  • Really amazing song, and really shitty video.

  • i've been listening to this song for 5 years now, and we are still magnetic

  • Not only a superior lyricist, with an unmatched flow, but he also kicks KNOWLEDGE of self to the youth... THE TRUTH!!!!

  • how fucking cool is this music video

  • man, Rakim is so deep. He's one of the few rappers left with some integrity

  • so fuking underated,

  • what a cool song and video!!! i remember this i used to have it on VHS.!

  • a simple beat great music ;) REAL HIP HOP

  • Three people doesn´t know who´s back!!!

  • his flow is unreal

  • Hes showing how rap had been taken over by demons (illuminati) , since he had been away , and how he wasnt going to sell his soul , like the snakes who get all the hype ..

  • @enlighten09 eventually maybe killed just like Tupac for being against illuminati.

  • @enlighten09 well that's just wrong because the video shows him selling his soul and becoming a microphone fiend once again. no illuminati here. i'm sorry, you're a paranoid dumb fuck

  • Comment removed

  • @enlighten09 kills him to take his place since he's the only microphone fiend around, showing he's always had the power, never lost it. argue all you want, you're still a paranoid dumb fuck

  • Comment removed

  • @enlighten09 the arguments people like you give are hilarious. so naive. i'm a demon huh? awesome

  • Comment removed

  • @enlighten09 never said we're arguing. said arguments, which means statements. statements can be said in any conversation, be it casual or not. learn your words yo. and why did you delete your comment from a few days back? too dumb even for you huh? paranoid is seeking the truth behind dumb shit. i agree it's interesting to analyze the symbolism behind a video, but believe me, most of the stuff in them are just there so people think it's cool. the more hype - the more cash. plain and simple

  • Comment removed

  • @enlighten09 lol you're hopeless

  • @valcearulz At least your laughing now rather than full of anger .

  • @enlighten09 might as well throw some ad hominem in there huh

  • @enlighten09 hit the need on the head

  • Comment removed

  • @enlighten09 u didn't understand this at all!

  • @enlighten09 Oh then you tell me Ivy lolx

  • @enlighten09 Tell me. What is illuminati?

  • @TheRhythmCollection its something alot of people are concernd about:P haha. people who dont understand how the big money moves

  • @enus1 Oh, so they are talking about corruption and fraud within the government and major businesses! I see!

  • @TheRhythmCollection Find this Video: Fritz Springmeier - Reptilian Entities (Rare Material)

  • @enlighten09 You could be on to something if it wasnt for Rakims latest album which was sending mixed messeges.

The 7th seal was all about promoting hip hop today and how we must "accept" the new stuff. Not sure if he meant it genuinely or not...but...

  • @shanttytown Well we know the way it happens , cops get something on em then they do what the Zionists tell them , great leaders will not come from the tv , movie , music or media though will they ? not at all ? The media would not let then carry on less they know who they serve . Great leaders are us ! The ones that havnt sold out , dont spend our lives or sell our souls , seeking the fame acclaim or glory . We are one and we are waking up in our millions x much love x Disobey

  • @enlighten09 Like I said before im not sure EXCATLY sure what messege Rakim was trying to send with 7th seal as Rakim always was changing up the meaning of the album in his interviews...

Either he was saying we must accept hip hop or hip hop needs a "restart" and only keep the good qualities that made hip hop good like back when it first started. Thing is Rakim has said both of these things were what the album was about mainly so one of them is not how he really feels I guess.

  • @shanttytown Well he cant come out and say it , he would get even less exposure , if it was hammered by zionist controlled media it means nothing . He has to be criptic or doesnt get heard at all ! We can devine what he really means we still have that gift lol , we dont need zionist entertainment or media .

  • @enlighten09 Thank you for enlighting me chosen one...NOT

You act like you have been in the rap industry before. BTW you are waaaaay too paraniod and misunderstood my orginal post.

  • @enlighten09 7th seal flopped pretty badly btw. Sold low amount of records, he got no radio time, and the critics bashed it.

  • Yo I Remember this shit...video was cheesy but song was dope as shit...put Rakim on my map...learned his legacy then

  • @SwaggaLeo this video...well the dude with the goat legs is the representation of Satan...the whole intro to the video is an allusion to the crossroads...that is when a artist is either desperate for success, or at the cusp of it, and Satan comes to guarantee success in exchange for, usually your soul. or a blood sacrifice. 99.5% of artists who are on top now will NEVER speak of this experience, but most of them have had it. Rakim was spitting about illuminati and the NWO before Jay-Z exposed it

  • @slumsfinest

isn't jay-z apart of the illuminati and i thought it was tupac that exposed them

  • @drkthms1 Yeah he is. I meant that Jay showed he is apart of it, being all blatant in his videos. and most of the idiots on youtube dont believe it because they're uneducated on the matter and dont know the symbols or science. and yeah Pac exposed them too. they were exposed multiple times by many ppl, but they so powerful it doesnt matter really. Because it was already how things will turn out.
