  • My friend did this speech to become class president, he is now class president that is how amazing the speech is

  • @thekidthatistall that was 3 years ago!

  • This historical hour,No revolution is worth anything unless it can defend itself. Some people may tell Salesman is a bad word, they'll conjure up images of used car dealers and charlatans. This is our duty to change their perception. I say, Salesmen and women of the world unite, We must never acquiesce, for it is, together, TOGETHER WE PREVAIL, We must never head control of the motherland for IT IS TOGETHER WE PREVAIL!"

  • "Have you ever asked yourself during an hour of meditation, which everyone finds during the day, How long we've been striving for greatness, not only the years we've been at war. but the war of work. But from the moment, as a child, we realize the world could be conquered, it has been a life time struggle, a never ending fight I say to you, and you will understand that it is a privilege to fight, WE ARE WARRIORS. Salesman of north eastern Pennsylvania I ask you, once more rise and be worthy of

  • Fucking gold. I cried

  • good speech but why the dumb filter over it?

  • He should be called Dwightler

  • The maniacal power laugh at 1m20s is awesome.

  • So So Awesome. I love this show.

  • my little brother did this speech to run for vp of his highschool's student council...

    He won over 2-1 .....

  • Rainn Wilson is a great speaker

  • It is a priv a lageee to FIGHT!

  • Taaaaaaaaaaaaaake ooooooooooooooon meeeeeeeeeeeeee!

  • aaah just wanted to add this to youtube but you were faster by 2 years...

  • OH MY GOD LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO this is the funniest.

  • Everytime I watch it I get a huge smile on my face. It's such an inappropriate speech and yet the crowd loves it! Brilliant. The embossing makes it look freakin awesome too. [liked]

  • Just pure comedic brilliance on every level! Rainn Wilson has created an intelligent, surreal superhero. Unknowingly flawed by his own prepubescent hubris. Television has not experienced this level of talent ever. We should feel privileged just to watch Dwight and The Office!

  • Oddly enough, Dwight does a good job.

  • most epic speech of history

  • This speech is absolutly life-changing - one could say revoluntonary one might say - my wife hates both offices - but asked to see this speech again - so strong was dwight's speech!

  • 6 people are crazy

  • A Classic TV Moment.

  • THE most inspiring speech ever! "WE MUST NEVER CEDE CONTROL OF THE MOTHERLAAAND..." LOL

  • IT IS TOGETHER THAT WE PREVAIL!

  • I'm working my way thru The Office on streaming Netflix. As of Season 2, Episode 17, Dwight's speech is my favorite moment. It is clearly from Mussolini, as the "talking points" that Jim provided Dwight are just a print from the Internet of Mussolini's stump speech on fascism. I won't say it's my favorite episode - the stuff about the thermostats and Jim's trip is pretty weak, but Dwight saves the day as only he can.

  • salesmen, and women of the world unite!

    karl marx would be proud!

  • Dwight is amazing

  • LMFAO...reenacting this speech in my religion class on monday

  • "...of the Mother Laaaaaaaaaaand!" I don't know why but that part kills me.

  • lolwut

  • All hail the People's Republic of Dwight.

  • Dwight would make a good communist leader.

  • WE ARE WARRIORS!

  • by far, this is my favorite moment in all the episodes i have watched of The Office. And i have watched all of the episodes.

  • It's black and white so that it's not claimed by NBC as copyright infringement.

  • @billay360 genius

  • Recyling stalin and musolini speeches?!?! hahaha this is priceless.

  • @CatoLongHair this isn't a dwight eisenhower speech?

  • there may possibly an excerpt, but most of it is Mussolini

  • No this is allmost definately musolini or... mby a bit of hitler, hitler's speeches are all translated badly though. But if your a history major then your probably right

  • it was musolini.. i was wrong :(

  • @CatoLongHair reminds me more of hitler XD

  • actually it was Mussolini

  • hey can you check my video and just give me some feed back... its a only a few minutes long man. i'll appreciate it

  • We just had graduation speeches for the my advanced speech class and one kid that wasnt prepared, got this from his friend, and used, priceless.

  • i really wanna use this as my valedictorian speech at the end of the school year

  • Nice filter..... I guess

  • FOR THE MOTHERLAND !

  • "Used car dealers, and door-to-door charlitans" xD

  • Why is this all black and white? O.o

  • CAUSE ITS COOL!!

  • "I entertained the guy who entertained a thousand guys... A thousand guys!"

    Such a great episode.

  • oh come on! how many people has democracy killed? how many have died because of it?

  • a little repetitive eh?

and chill, its a tv show. no one here is expressing their political views seriously.

  • I have only just gotten into this show very recently. I saw this episode the other night and have been laughing ever since. This is a fantastic scene. Dwight is the best character on this show. Great stuff!

  • Salesmanship really IS like Italian Fascism.

  • maybe the italian mafia...which uses "salesmen" aka HITMEN! AHHAHA

  • whats with this stupid fucking filter?

  • would be taken down otherwise

  • DWIGHT FTW

  • I don't think the Office are trying to amke a political statement it is just very funny that Dwight does this speech. It is my favourite scene.

  • Salesman is not a bad word!

  • Martin Luther King Jr. being apart of the Communist party or having any involvement/ties is very ironic because he was portrayed as a liberal man with plans for change. Conflicting any type of communistic ideals. However it may be true and it may be false. We will never truly understand what he was doing. Therefore I believe we cannot judge someone who has lead us one step closer to this word called "Freedom."

  • Well scope22graffiti you have a valid point, but every government system has its flaws and strong points. The basic ideologies of Communism were good, but it ended up having a bad economy as well. However, you are right the word socialism is thrown around loosely because analysts believe a socialistic movement will ultimately lead to communism.

  • Communism has only the virtue of idealism, while completely forsaking the realities of both human nature and the human condition. It seeks to shape humanity through artificial means or social engineering. Ironically, in an ideal world, it will be relegated to the ash heap of history so that we can move on to more realistic ideas. Fascism did kill a few million, but communism has killed tens of millions.

  • but facism only existed for a decade or two, while communism has for such a longer time.

  • the office is the funniest show on tv...

oh and btw some people dont know what communism is, most americans dont have any idea what socialism is a well, recently "socialism" is thrown around very loosely... we just know that is "bad", its negative connotation is what you really know...democracy is just a facade capitalism leads to greed...and our current economic state is the direct product of what u blindly defend with out knowledge ....QUESTION EVERYTHING!!!...

    THE OFFICE RULES!!!

  • Thank you, finally someone with half a brain that understands that socialism and communism are not at all the same thing.

  • office rules!!!!!!!!! and your a faggot! go amercia, go capitalism

  • alright people it's a comedy show no one cares about mlk (even though he was a communist ) just watch the video, laugh and and move on this isn't a website for debates. Especially on clips from the office.

  • The fist pounding is my favorite part, I think he just started a new country.

  • One of the BEST scenes from the Office...EVER!!! hahahahahaha

  • LOL at Dwights maniac laugh at 1:24, ROFL, and Michael walking out xD

  • "BLOOD ALONE MOVES THE WHEELS OF HISTORY!!"

LOL You gotta love ironic references to fascism!

  • hilarious shit

  • Ahh, O.K now i get it. I was wondering what the deal was.

  • Can someone please just post this clip without all the artsy fartsy crap. When you add stuff to a clip like this your decreasing the value of the clip. Its like repainting a mona lisa.

  • yeah but then they can step in with the copyright and pull it..

  • they arent gonna do that if they did half the stuff on youtube would be gone.

  • As long as the clip is under 10 minutes, it's legal, I think. You can look up almost any movie and it'll be divided into 10-minute segments, close to regular quality.

  • Once again, the passionate appeal of fascism is demonstrated. :-P

  • No, he did not give these types of speeches. This in fact is an edited version of Mussolini's oratory. MLK never spoke about blood, violence or war, except when referring to the motives of those who literally beat him in the street.

  • i wasnt referring to what he talks about. i was referring to the way that he speaks in a powerful tone.

  • oh wow...

  • and lenin and others.

  • Why are you "pretty sure" about MLK? Because your liberal teachers pounded it into your know-nothing head all your life? You're right, MLK wasn't a fascist. He was a communist.

  • this is ridiculous, of course mlk never spoke about things like that. but it is quite obvious that he used a tone like this in his speeches. if u would look at his most powerful speech (and probably one of the most remorable of all time) His I Have A Dream Speech, he uses a strong tone and powerful emphasis just as it is used here. it is not a sign of fascist or communist speeches, just a way to emphasize your points. and i used "pretty sure" as a sarcastic emphasis so idk what ur problem is...

  • My problem is that MLK was a communist collaborator, and all you people who idolize him don't know a thing about him. All you know is "AH HAVE A DREAM!" and that your liberal teachers told you he was good. He wasn't all good.

  • from what i said what makes you think i idolize him? i"m in the same boat you are...

  • Oh ok. It wasn't anything you said. I was just assuming. Most people on here fall all over themselves fawning over MLK but don't know the whole story.

  • I really hope you respond to this. Because, The Office is actually making fun of Mussolini.

I don't care if you're just ignorant, and the only famous speech you've heard is from Martin Luther King. But, to discover that I'm correct, simply google "Blood alone moves the wheels of history". And, you'll find that it came from Mussolini.

  • That was Stanley Levison. King's ties to communism would have been particularly strained, given the fact that any communist movement is severely anti-theist, and King was a religious leader.

  • He was a "religious" leader, you mean. He was not all good.

  • probably so it wouldn't get removed..

  • why did you put the effect on it?
