this song is extremely sad. the lyrics, the whole feeling of it. ben gibbard sings with such emotion. i dont get emotion from you. you play well, but you need to immerse yourself into the emotion and feeling of the song. you need to imagine that you are the narrator, that the love of your life is dying. come on! feel it! in your "i will follow you into the dark" and "passenger seat" covers, i didnt get emotion, either. i'm sure it's there, but it is not translating to me. make it so!

@INSigotem No, you're ears are just tricking you because the bassline (descending at that point) causes one to perceive the pitch to drop even lower than the actual note and C and E are a major 3rd apart, (which is very common harmonically). So it may sound like it goes all the way down to C, but it is definitely an E. Kudos for caring enough to be skeptical and test me though.

Piano was amazing. You went a little fast, but understandable. You voice was good for multitasking, but you seemed dull, quiet, and nasally. Sing more with your throat than your nasal passages, breath with your diaphragm for projection, and feel what you're singing. Put more emotion behind it, this is a very emotional song.
