thats is not true iran is becoming like germany after WWI they keep printing out money but it dosent value that much if you want to go out on a average day in tehran you need like 2 stacks of money. back in the days irans money was so strong it was as strong as euro in the 1970s irans money was worth so much than now.

yes because of the free oil it was shipping to the west, the lack of sanctions, the investment it was getting due to the west relations, the military strength given by the west. a pimped up nation always has strong currency, but when those strings are cut, we are nothing. now Iran is building ITSELF up just like the times of Cyrus, Darius, Ardashir, Khosrow and Shah Abbas. Iran can become effiecient, only if the west leaves Iran alone.

maybe, but islam saved iran from civil strife and corruption twice, once under the sassanids and then under pahlavi. now the hardline stance and corruption we still see today was not because of islam, it was more an imbedded trait of the iranians, which pre-dates islam. look how the Achemenids and the Sassanids crumbled due to civil strife and Royal murders, and how ruthless the Zands were. Zoroastrians live in peace in Iran today
