this is also a lesson to fake seals.SF, rangers or whatever. becareful when trying to pick up ladies because sometimes you never know who they might know or even where they might work. there are quite a few civilains that work in the offices of special operations units or training units. or even military bases. or even might know someone that is in the service or could even close ties to a real seal or SF. so your story might be easily validated .

Every navy seal had to go though BUDS! not one way around it. and no seal really talks about what they do, or not so open about it. I talked to my teachers son who was a sniper from seal team 1 in hawaii and i never did ask him about what he did or has done, nor did he brag about it, but he did talk about buds and what to expect and a few ideas regarding swimming skills, my personal flaw, but the things he did i guess it was just something that was not talked about,oh very motivated personality

I have a SEAL trident I bought when I was 9 at a war surplus store, along with a SEAL hat. I've never once thought about using it to get laid. It just stays with my pin collection. When people ask where I got it, I just tell them I bought it at a War Surplus store.

While I don't see much SEAL-sucking here in Michigan, as we're pretty far away from the ocean, the number of guys who are walking around pretending to be Marines or Army Rangers has pretty much shot through the roof (my observation since retiring and moving back home).

My favorite game is to ask them in front of their girlfriend / wife / whatever what unit they served with, when, and where. Most finally admit "they have a friend" or whatever.

God help us if we have to start the draft again.
