Its a difference of cultures. My guess is that you live and were born in the USA where race is used to identify ones self. For example ALfonso soriano and david ortiz are both almost purely black that if they were in hati you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. Its a difference of cultures. My guess is that you live and were born in the USA where race is used to identify ones self. You can't go to other countries and expect others to do the same as you do in your own country. Even in Europe immigrants are classified by nationality, it is the same in Latin America and DR. If most Dominicans identify as mixed race then its perfectly okay, its not a crime. If you go by the one drop rule, its okay but dont force others to do the same. Respect, cheers!
