@tsampika911 you are right the choir didnt fit in well. I think the problem is that the sopranos are singing a bit too high. you don't find that high pitched sounds in african choirs....
@tsampika911 I disagree, I think the choir fit in quite nicely. It added alot to the overall performance and made me feel like I was actually wandering the African Jungle.
@cheesesuperman1 yes, but with a guide on a documentary perhaps, not really hearing sounds of the african choirs. manolobraum for example was right, high pitched sounds are not in african choirs (from what i've heard at least).
this music reminds me of soundtracks of american/european movies about africa, not something you would hear in africa though. but every opinion is respectable :)
@tsampika911 it's only because they're all white cept for the 1 black chick the camera guy used as much as he could. They sung it as well as they could, they rly needed an African quire for this symphony x.x needs to be totally redone cause of the recorder too. hope it does soon
khartoba- The downloads are not on iTunes, nor are they paid downloads. They come from classical podcasts sponsored by OSU which has one of the largest followings in the world for classical music. Does that make sense?

I'd kinda like to point out that this is a symphony about Africa, not an African symphony...

very nice, but to be honest, i didn't like very much the choir. it didn't sound african to me, especially in their entrance.
