I hiked up Bishops peak this past Christmas Eve Day. I was taught Rock Climbing by a World Class Climber. Now that I'm Old and Decrepit, I no longer participate (that and the fact that you kids bore me)
This area is near bottom of the trail, very pretty rock formations and trees...the best part.
Up at the top, I did some bouldering.
Brought AM Radio to monitor Aeronautical Beacon "RWE" ...that continuous Morse Code you can sometimes hear at bottom of AM dial 530 kHz...nothing doing. Turned off?
