At the end of the game, the Deku Butler is seen weeping at said husk, which is presumed to be his dead son. He previously said that Link looked like his dead son when Link was in his Deku form. But where did the mask come from? Majora killed the Deku scrub and turned him into a mask, then giving Link the form of the scrub. Finally, The Fierce Diety Mask. It Is Evil. The moon children are-

The end of the world is inevitable, there is no way to turn back the clock. Or is there? And the masks, oh the masks. In theory, the masks are troubled souls healed by the song of healing, turned to maskes. That means Link sort of stole Mikau's and Darmani's souls, channeling them through masks.

Majora's Mask has always been one the hardest Zelda games I've ever played. I actually had to cheat to play it through. It's also got a very dark theme, and I never really liked putting on those masks.. :) But all in all, definitely one of the most memorable Zelda games ever made, highly recommended!
This game, the earlier one, and Zelda WindWaker were the start of great video games. XBox and PS2 or 3 do have better graphic, but the history of games are the Zelda series.
@KingNoobZombie Actually, I think Nintendo messed up Wind Waker. The stylized graphics took out all of the epicness of the game. For example, in Twilight Princess, after defeating a boss link flourishes his sward and sheathes it, but in Wind Waker, Link jumps around like, (as Tingle would say) a fairy boy.

It was probably more of a time for reflection on complaints about WW, and thus made TP better in those areas. @Fenrir2901 Not exactly. Most Zelda games start fresh, but there are some being direct sequels. Majora's Mask is a sequel to Ocarina of Time. A wonderful starter Zelda game would be Ocarina of Time. Secondary options would be Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword (newest one coming soon), 1st Legend of Zelda, A Link to the Past, and Link's Awakening.
this generation of video gamers is so lame, all they know is their Call of Duty and Halo. They missed out. Now it's all about Online gaming, such as WoW, Battlefield, and CoD. Thumbs this up if you want a Majora's Mask remake too. Majora's Mask is also one of the best games of all time. It's an unbelievably good sequel that does Ocarina of Time a great deal of justice. Many, & quite frankly myself included, would argue that it's better than Ocarina of Time. With a name, an e-mail address & an optional comment, you can help MM get the recognition it deserves.
I like this game even more than OoT because the control of the time was epic, and of course the side quest of all the town and the other places was so cool. The uses for the masks was excelent and there is more action not only in the principal dungeons, there is the gerudo fortress, the ikana castle and some other cool places.
I hope nintendo make something similar than the bombers book in the skyward sword

And no I'm not doing this for likes or attention. I am doing it because I would really love to have a remade Majora's Mask.
i honestly think the story for this game was way better than Oot . And when i say story i mean the side mission stories included. Only thing was that the gameplay was sooo tedious and the world felt like it was rushed to be done. I think a few more years in production and this would have been the greatest video game of all time

I'm so glad I found all the masks in this game and got the true ending, it's the most satisfying feeling in the world. The only reason people hate on this game is because they suck at it or couldn't get all the masks. This is the best game ever once you beat it 100 percent.

that's your opinion. i think ocarina of time is the best. i like majora's mask, but it's really annoying having to beat the 3 day limit, travel back, do things over etc. i don't like the whole concept of the time and that's still annoying no matter how much i play the game. ocarina of time was more free and there was more to do. not mention more dungeons and better ones too (excluding that awful water temple).
@Fluffypopcicle I dunno why everyone hated the Water Temple. It's my favorite temple; yes, it was insanely hard, yes it was extremely annoying (especially with the boots switching), and yes, it took forever.....but for some reason that's why I like it the best out of all of them.
The Water Temple was a pain in the ass on the N64 because of the controls. The 3DS version fixed the annoyance with the Iron Boots and whatnot. The Water Temple was actually my favorite temple by far in the 3D version. It looked the best in 3D to me and with new graphics it was the most beautiful. The controls also make switching the boots on and off actually FUN!!! The 3DS version is the way OOT was meant to be played.

Its very disturbing.
The music is terrifying at times.
The world is about the end and the moon has the creepy look on its face.
This game is one of my favorites cause its survival-horror.

this generation of video gamers is so lame, all they know is their Call of Duty and Halo. They missed out. Now it's all about Online gaming, such as WoW, Battlefield, and CoD. Man, fkck you guys, I grew up with Nintendo Classics, I grew up with NES, SNES, Gamecube and PS2. That was the true generation of gaming!

It's a great game though and i want a new zelda to game have a dark storyline but still be semi colorful kinda like majoras mask. I loved how it appeared kid friendly graphically but then you got further in the game and you found out the world was going to end. Such a good all around game. For me it's better than oot.

Thumbs this up if you want a Majora's Mask remake too. Majora's Mask is also one of the best games of all time. It's an unbelievably good sequel that does Ocarina of Time a great deal of justice. Majoras Mask rulez.
I like this game even more than OoT because the control of the time was epic, and of course the side quest of all the town and the other places was so cool. The uses for the masks was excelent and there is more action not only in the principal dungeons, there is the gerudo fortress, the ikana castle and some other cool places.
I hope nintendo make something similar than the bombers book in the skyward sword

i honestly think the story for this game was way better than Oot . And when i say story i mean the side mission stories included. Only thing was that the gameplay was sooo tedious and the world felt like it was rushed to be done. I think a few more years in production and this would have been the greatest video game of all time

I'm so glad I found all the masks in this game and got the true ending, it's the most satisfying feeling in the world. The only reason people hate on this game is because they suck at it or couldn't get all the masks. This is the best game ever once you beat it 100 percent.

@Kingshadowclock Haha, thank you. The music was from one of my favorite video games and movies. The first part came from Stanley Kubrick's film "A Clockwork Orange" and the music's called Overture to the Sun. Search it. I think it's there.
The 2nd part of the music comes from the Gamecube game "Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem" music titled Gift of Forever. One of my fav pieces of music evAR!

that's your opinion. i think ocarina of time is the best. i like majora's mask, but it's really annoying having to beat the 3 day limit, travel back, do things over etc. i don't like the whole concept of the time and that's still annoying no matter how much i play the game. ocarina of time was more free and there was more to do. not mention more dungeons and better ones too (excluding that awful water temple).

@Fluffypopcicle I dunno why everyone hated the Water Temple. It's my favorite temple; yes, it was insanely hard, yes it was extremely annoying (especially with the boots switching), and yes, it took forever.....but for some reason that's why I like it the best out of all of them.

The Water Temple was a pain in the ass on the N64 because of the controls. The 3DS version fixed the annoyance with the Iron Boots and whatnot. The Water Temple was actually my favorite temple by far in the 3D version. It looked the best in 3D to me and with new graphics it was the most beautiful. The controls also make switching the boots on and off actually FUN!!! The 3DS version is the way OOT was meant to be played.
