There are drums, and then there is Rock Band. Two completely different things. If you can get 100% on real drums, why can't you do it on Rock Band? Could it be that Rock Band is *gasp* harder??
Isnt near perfect the same thing as allowing room for making minor mistakes? Besides, playing on a full kit is much harder than four plastic pads. You have to move around alot more and rock band under charts alot of songs.
I wont disagree with you that the bass pedal sucks and the rebound is bad, but the main reason rockband is not harder than real drums is the fact that you are just playing what is on the chart. That is why so many people can be good at rockband but not at real drums because its really easy just to follow what is on a screen. Real drums actually takes a sense of rhythm and timing

thats very true rockband does teach you the basics of drumming but I would leave it at that. I guess people need to realize the difference between real drums and rockband. Dont get me wrong I love playing rockband but I prefer playing a real instrument any day.

But rock band drums have terrible bounce. Plus the bass pedal is terrible. And the bass parts are charted correctly for one foot.
